"Not necessarily different from other major city zoos but still worth the time."

The Zoo was worth the trip. It admittedly took 15 minutes driving around to find a parking spot, but it did not seem that level of crowded inside the facility. The layout was spacious. The animals appear to be taken care of, staff was friendly throughout the park, and there was a good variety. It took about 90 minutes to see the entire zoo.

"Very disappointed not worth the cost of the admission"

For the price of admission the zoo was very disappointing. Over 50% of the exhibits were empty and being worked on. Another 25% had an animal (supposedly) but even after waiting a fair bit of time there was no animals to be seen or if there was they were asleep and fairly hidden. The remaining 25% could be seen. I went there with hopes to take some great headshots with my camera that I could have printed and hung in my home. Unfortunately that didn’t happen. Like I said very disappointed.
