Description

The Oak Ridge Boys are “America’s favorite group.” With one of the most distinctive and recognizable sounds in all of music, their four-part, power harmonies and upbeat songs have spawned dozens of Country, Pop, and Gospel hits and earned them multiple Grammy’s, Doves, and Country music awards. They’ve sold over 30 million records and continue to release new music each year!

The Oaks’ high-energy stage show has been acclaimed internationally and remains at the heart and soul of their extensive 160-day tours, which regularly take them from the East Coast to the West Coast and into Canada. The group maintains a high-profile television presence, including many recent specials for the world hunger relief organization Feed The Children, and a hit TV series, Live from Las Vegas, which ranked as one of TNN’s highest-rated variety shows.

"Where’s the zero?"

We had hoped to hear four talented singers entertain us. WRONG. Three over the hill singers and one talent. You guess who that was. And the volume was high we were plugging our ears. We left before intermission. Your farewell tour is overdue

"Oak Ridge Boys in Branson"

I give them a three based upon the fact that they are a legend and I never saw them. The show,,,not so much. The youngest is mid-70s and the rest are pushing 80 or in their 80s. I saw their show on 11/3/22 at the Mansion Theater in Branson. I found most of their songs to be just so-so and some of the member a bit off-pitch at times, The second half of the show had them mostly on stools and one member is pretty much hobbled. If you are going to see a legend, go for it. If you're going for an exciting show with great music, go and see the Haygoods.

"Where is the no star option"

We left at intermission. These guys day has come and gone. The band was great, the vocals left much to be desired. If we would have had a gong, the bell would have been rung after the first set. Save your money, by an old CD and enjoys the tunes.

"Tremendous show - the Boys have still got it!"

This was our first show in Branson and we started off with a bang. It is incredible that in their 70's (and 80's in one case) they can still perform with such energy and talent. Our only negative is they should get rid of the intermission and go straight through, which I believe is what the Boys would prefer (I assume the Theatre wants to use it to sell more concessions). Cup holders would be a welcome addition as well.
