Our New Orleans Segway Experience Tour brings you almost all the thrills of our standard Segway tour, but in just two hours. Glide effortlessly through the timeless streets of the French Quarter as we point out all the highlights New Orleans has to offer. From the Mighty Mississippi to the birthplace of Jazz, to the infamous haunts of Bourbon Street.

Perfect for those looking for a shorter stroll around the city, this two-hour option still provides an excellent overview of the French Quarter and will make you fall in love with riding a Segway!

IMPORTANT NOTES
• Please arrive 15 minutes before the tour departure to complete the necessary paperwork. Each member of your party will be required to complete and sign a liability waiver form. Minors will need a parent or guardian to complete their paperwork.
• All tour participants must be at least 12 years of age. An adult must accompany all minors (anyone under the age of 18) during the tour.
• Guests must weigh at least 100 pounds (45kg) and not be more than 260 pounds(118kg).
• Due to the risk to both mother and child, pregnant women are not allowed to participate in our Segway tours.
• Insurance requires that City Segway Tours maintain a credit card on file (one per party) on the day of the reservation. Please bring your MasterCard, Visa, American Express, or Discover with you for this. Your card will not be charged unless there is damage caused to the Segway. Your card information will be deleted immediately upon completion of a damage-free tour.
• Your safety is always our highest priority, and we begin each tour with a thorough orientation of the Segway and its use before departing our office.
• All of our tours operate rain or shine, and we have rain ponchos for sale in our office.
• Anyone suspected of being under the influence of alcohol will not be permitted to ride, and will not be refunded.

Where is the meeting point?
Segway Tours begin at our office, located at 214 Decatur Street, New Orleans, LA 70130. Our office is located in the French Quarter directly across from the House of Blues. (Two blocks off of Canal Street and two blocks off the Mississippi River).

Is there parking available near the office? 
There are many parking lots around the French Quarter. The closest to the office is at 111 Iberville St. (corner of Iberville st and N. Peters). Their rate is $30 for up to 8 hours.

Are there any age/physical/health/etc. restrictions for this tour? 
All participants must be at least 12 years old and weigh at least 100 pounds (45kg) and not over 260 pounds (118 kg). An adult must accompany minors under the age of 18 on tour. Unfortunately, anyone under the age of 12 will not be permitted to participate. We have had several people with disabilities join our tours. The necessary range of motion required to operate a Segway is similar to that of being able to transfer weight from one foot to another while walking. Riding a Segway does require the need to be able to stand for long periods.

Am I required to wear a helmet?
Yes.

How big will my group be?
Our Segway tours operate in groups of 8 people per tour guide.
