Our stay here was mostly fine. The location is great -- very close to the streetcars. It is a cute place. Our room was comfortable. The staff was also fine, but not outstanding. What needed improvement? Every hotel has something. The lobby is a little misleading in the pictures. There is a shelf of bottles of alcohol behind the front desk, but there is not a lobby bar. The door to the bathroom is right next to the toilet. We had 2 days of a very lukewarm shower -- almost to the point where we were looking for another place to stay. The front desk told us to let the water run for a while. After experimenting, we found 5 minutes to be enough. It would be great if the front desk would tell people to do that when they check in. The room had several really dark spots, especially around the coffee area. Not great, and this could easily be fixed. Finally, the toilet paper. It was about the cheapest possible. Please, Pelham, charge another $5 a night if you must, but have better quality paper. But we enjoyed our visit and would stay there again.

What a hidden gem, and such a slice of history! At most a 10 minute walk to all the great tourist spots, central to everything. The high ceilinged rooms only added to the ambience, and the staff couldnt have been more helpful! Free coffee for me was a joy! Considering the great location, this hotel was exceptional value for money, my bed was clean and comfortable.

Lovely boutique hotel. Quiet, clean, well thought through design and amenities. I stayed 5 days and didn't need to ask for anything - everything I needed was always there. Great location too, but quiet!
