Description

The Mauna to Mauna (Mountain to Mountain) tour explores the valleys and slopes between Maui’s two prominent volcanic mountains. This tour takes you to explore several sites located between Maui’s two ancient volcanic mountains. Begin with a visit to historic Iao Valley and Heritage Gardens, with its lush foliage and running streams. Then meander to Ho'okipa beach and on through several charming towns in Maui’s Upcountry region, such as Makawao, and choose between a variety of activities and places to eat. Finish the day cruising a dirt road high up along Haleakala’s southeastern face, with views typically seen only from an airplane.

Many guests use this tour for their last-day adventure on Maui. You are picked up at your hotel or rental property then venture through as many ecosystems as if driving from Mexico to Canada. Learn about Maui’s richly diverse culture and history. Then enjoy the convenience of being dropped off at the airport.
