There is no set destination so the experienced crew can select the best locations based on conditions, and you'll visit multiple snorkel sites when time and weather allow. Sail Maui will set their sails, look for Lana’i’s famous spinner dolphins, and serve up a full lunch buffet as you relax onboard.

Where does the Lanai Coast Snorkel trip depart?

The tour will depart from the main loading dock at Lahaina Harbor. The boat will pull up to the dock.

Where do we check in, and when should we arrive?

Check-in is 30 minutes prior to your scheduled departure time at Lahaina Harbor. Check-in is in front of the Pioneer Inn, by the semi-circle to the left of the tree. Look for a Sail Maui sign on the red brick walkway.

Will we see dolphins?

We sure hope so! Dolphins are frequently spotted, especially on their Lana’i trip. However, dolphins are wild animals and there is no guarantee that you will see them or any other wild marine life.

Can Sail Maui accommodate special diets?

Yes, vegetarian or gluten-free options are available through their catering companies. However, people with severe nut allergies or celiac disease should be aware that they cannot guarantee there has been no cross-contamination.

Will the boat go to more than one snorkel site?

Sail Maui specializes in performance sailing, so rather than motoring around to multiple spots, they will hit their favorite and then go for an exhilarating sail.

What's included in this tour?

This Lana'i Coast Snorkel tour includes snorkel gear and flotation, reef-safe sunscreen, a continental breakfast, full lunch, tropical fruit, soft drinks, water, beer, wine, and an assortment of cocktails. (Minimum drinking age to consume alcoholic beverages is 21 years.)

What should we bring?

Please wear your swimsuit and bring a towel. Sail Maui does not provide towels, however, they do keep a small inventory on the boat for purchase. A hat, sunglasses, camera, and reusable water bottle are also at the top of the list.
