Description
Start your adventure with breakfast at a Kona Coffee Farm to enjoy breakfast and coffee sampling, before heading to Kula Kai to delve into a private cave system to explore lava tubes, learn how they were formed, and history of how the ancient Hawaiians used them.
Next, head to the beautiful black sand beach of Punalu’u, a famous beach known for it's glistening black sand created by volcanic activity on Kilauea, one of the world's most active volcanoes. Enjoy a scenic ride to Volcanoes National Park where you will enjoy your deli-style lunch in the park.
From there, make your way to the summit of Kilauea, where your guide will explain the history of what is considered to be one of the most active volcanoes in the world. View the Halemaumau Crater and hear about al the recent changes to this surreal landscape. Finish your day with a visit to the famous Rainbow Falls.
