Yes, in order to enter, BOTH a Park Reservation and Valid Admission Ticket are required prior to arrival. Please check to see if your desired date and theme park is available BEFORE purchasing your ticket by clicking on the Check Availability Calendar. After purchase, visit your Disney World account at https://disneyland.disney.go.com/login to set-up an account and select the date you plan on attending the park through the Disney Park Pass reservation system. Given the limited availability of reservations, it is recommended that you make your theme park reservations immediately after purchasing your admission. Buying a ticket does not guarantee you admission without an advance reservation. Capacity is limited and sells out fast during peak periods. Park Hopper tickets require a reservation for the first park you plan to visit for each day. You can hop to another park with the Park Hopper after 1pm based on park capacity.

You can make one selection at a time, after park entry on the day of your visit (attractions are subject to limited availability; limit one Lightning Lane selection per attraction per day). There are a variety of attractions throughout Disneyland and Disney California Adventure Park that are included in this service. Guests with a Park Hopper ticket and an appropriate park reservation may cross over and switch between parks on the same day beginning at 1:00 PM to experience the attractions at the other park with this service. 2). For some of our most highly demanded attractions, Lightning Lane entrance access will be available to purchase individually. Guests may purchase and select the next available arrival window for up to 2 attractions per day. This option will be available for all guests with valid theme park admission and park reservations—with or without Disney Genie+ service.
Once you’ve redeemed your initial selection (or the arrival window has passed), you can use the Disney Genie service Tip Board or My Day itinerary to see when you’re eligible to make another selection. You can make selections, one at a time, all day up to regular park closing, subject to availability and limited to one Lightning Lane selection per attraction per day.

If you want to visit when the number of Guests is expected to be lower, plan to visit mid-week (Tuesdays to Thursdays) during: - mid-September through mid-November - mid-January through mid-March - mid-April through mid-May The benefit of visiting the Disneyland Resort when the number of Guests is low is that wait times may be shorter, allowing you to do more.
