Defending the Caveman in Las Vegas, NV

My girlfriend and I received free tickets from “Marriage Can Be Murder”(great show!!! Must see!!!) which we saw right before this show. This show is entertaining and informative but not a laugh out loud type of show. I’m glad we got the free tickets as I don’t think it’s worth $30 per ticket. There definitely are better shows to see in Vegas.

We'd read the previous views do our expectations were low but it was included on our LV pass so we thought we'd give it a try. Unfortunately, it was as expected. The guy delivering the material has learnt it by heart and is very professional on stage. However, the scripted delivery makes the jokes fall flat. And the jokes aren't even funny.

I saw Defending the Caveman 25 years ago. It’s a hilarious comic bit everyone should see. But not at the D Las Vegas. The small room and low budget production would have been fine with me. But the comic could not remember his lines and that ruined it. The first time he said “Troy what’s the next part” (to the sound guy at the back) we all thought it was part of the show. But no, it happened about 8 times before he just gave up and did general comedy having nothing to do with the caveman show. It was very disappointing. Definitely go see Defending the Caveman somewhere else.

This is in my top 3 worst shows I've ever seen in Vegas. There were 10 people total watching this show. I understand why. Disappointed that I paid money and used time on my vacation for this.
