Have stayed here many times! Typically it’s a great stay this time was less then that due to a toilet that needed attention. Front desk were fast to help but I’m not even sure anyone came to check it out. Still love the Nugget due to great past experiences.

The maid service was excellent, the bath tub had a whole in it and water was running down the hole to the next room under us I told the blonde gentleman behind the desk and he me if I wanted a technician to come and check on it and there was nothing he could because it needed extensive work, we had no room service which I had wanted desperately, had to go down to chick filt every morning get coffee which I did not enjoy, everything we ate the bill came to over $100.00, alittle outrageous , 20.00 parking per night and tipping. $5.00 in and $5.00 out, because I appreciate the service they gave but $20.00 a night was outrageous, $160.00 for our car, we love to play the machine, I forgot my card in the room , but my girlfriend used her, we dropped also $500.00 I don't think we will returning, It's not same as before, itself to be customer service, but now it's Don by a freaking machine, drinks are $15.00 way too much, now yall are just money mongers, just robbing descent people who love to come there, we went across the street to horseshoe found nice little good food for $50.00 and tip, we ate their twice, you should follow their lead and serve food at a respectable price, instead of gouging with these expensive restaurant, chik filet was not on our list of places to eat. I don't know how a family of four, can reasonably take a vacation and stay at the golden nugget without going broke, but of you could care less. Yours truly Betty Capron

We went to the Golden Nugget to have dinner and walk around the property to see what has changed recently. The thing that shocked us was that they were charging $50 to park in their garage. Are you kidding me? This is not a luxury hotel and casino on the strip. This is a downtown casino with nothing special. They don't even charge that much for parking on the strip. Will never return.

Housekeeping apparently decided to get high in our room. Whole room smelled like a joint when we came back to our room. Clothes everything stink now after they came in evening time. Nothing against a persons choice but I prefer not to have all my stuff smell like weed the whole time I’m here.

I will preface this review by not commenting on the Fremont St Experience. That said, my wife and I look at comfortable and clean rooms wherever we stay. We have stayed at the Golden Nugget before, and we have never been disappointed. We stayed in the Gold Tower overlooking the Pool on the 17th Floor. The room was very comfortable and clean. We experienced a couple of minor issues while there, but hotel staff came quickly to our room (coffee pot and light didn't work). Views were great, hot water when we needed it and TV worked great for the limited time we watched. Only drawbacks we observed were the room had limited lighting resulting in a darker room. The toilet in the bathroom was low to the floor requiring extra effort to rise from the seat. A rail would help. Mind you this is not a room for people needing assistance, but certain railings would have been nice in the toilet area and the shower. Neither my wife nor I considered these deal breakers, and we would definitely stay here again. This is our go to hotel downtown. During our stay we ate at Cadillac in the hotel and at the Grill. Staff were very customer friendly and helpful. We were very impressed and we did tell our servers we were very impressed. Food and drinks were excellent. We won some, and lost some at the machines. The casino won't build a new tower with what we lost. Bottom line, we loved our stay at the Golden Nugget!
