Now performing at the Hughes Brothers Theatre in Branson, Missouri, Branson's Famous Baldknobbers is an action-packed country music and comedy variety show featuring the legendary Mabe family. The Mabe family began the Branson family entertainment phenomenon over 60 years ago in 1959.

During November and December, the show celebrates the season with a magical Christmas production. The first half begins with the best of the season's regular show. Then, the show transitions into a special Christmas holiday performance during the second half, complete with classic holiday tunes and dazzling costumes.

Branson’s first and longest-running show, the Baldknobbers features award-winning talent and is guaranteed to give you memories to last a lifetime. As Branson’s premier country music variety show, the show is stacked with all of your favorite country hits and hilarious comedy. As the original Branson variety show, there is just enough classic rock, patriotic salutes, and soulful gospel music to pull on all of your heartstrings.

The show is updated and upgraded every year to ensure the best and most professional performance for new and returning guests alike—keeping the Baldknobbers at the top for nearly 65 years!

We saved the show that started it all for Brandon as our last on vacation. I saw the Baldknobbers show over 20 years ago….came back to see how it’s changed. You will not be disappointed! My husband said it was the best show we saw all week! A little country, rock and good old gospel for the soul. Audience participation added another layer of humor. I love how this show really showcased its gratitude to Veteran’s! The staff running the concession stand were attentive and quick…. Not to mention some of the best prices in town from the many theaters we went to this week. If you are on the fence about this show…. DON’T Be!!!Book the tickets and you will thoroughly enjoy yourself!! I think some of the singers did better jobs delivering songs than the artist that made them big. Go Go Go, you will have a blast!!

Today's show was fantastic! We were amazed the very talented the singers and musicians. We also laughed a lot at the antics of the hilarious comedian (Mayham)! We also loved the patriotic and Christian music. Just an overall great family show! If you are ever in Branson, don't miss it!!

Today a group of us from the Tri Lakes Corvette Club attended the Baldknobbers show at the Hughes theatre in Branson. It is a great venue, and the show was there best one yet. A Branson staple, this is their 66th year in Branson and Brandon is a third generation Mabe, this new show topped those I have seen and enjoyed for many years. The band was excellent and the vocals were top notch. I have to say that Megan and Ashley are probably the best female vocalists in Branson and beyond. The comedian, Mayhem, was a stitch. A great time was had by all. Making plans to return for this show again soon and to attend their new classic country show when it opens later this year. Thank you for an amazing afternoon.
