I booked this "resort" for a weekend getaway for myself and 2 kids (ages 17 & 3). I was looking forward to not really having to leave to entertain my 3-yr old. We arrived around 9pm on a Friday night, after a 7-hour road trip. Only to be greeted by a ridiculous line of people waiting to check in, I was literally in line for 3 hours (checked in @ 12:02 am). One positive thing is they offer a complimentary late checkout of 12:00. The extra hour was helpful since we were on the 6th floor and needed to make multi trips to the car. After about 2 hours the manager came out and an apology and offered complimentary breakfast. Which apparently, we had to stand in line the next morning to get a voucher to redeem. The kids' zone was closed the entire weekend and the pool at the south tower was dirty, I never went to the main pool (so can't speak to its cleanliness). The food was disgusting and overpriced. I ordered 2 large pizzas (1 cheese & 1 with 3 toppings), 7 pc wings & a sangria for $84. To make matters worse, my 3-yr old took 1 bite of the cheese pizza (which he typically loves) and refused to eat it. Even my 17-yr old son wouldn't eat the pizza. There's something to be said about a family resort that can't make a cheese pizza kids will actually eat. Let's add insult to injury, today I discovered that I was overcharged. When I made my reservation, it was under Wyndham, at check I asked to ensure that it was going to be the same price. Guy at front desk said yes, and asked to see my confirmation with total price, which I showed him. Today while reviewing my banking transactions, I discovered a charge from holiday inn for almost $100 more than the original reservation. I requested an itemized receipt which I'm still waiting and hoping to receive. Also, there's 2 additional charges under pending for about $250.

They made me and few hundreds of people with their kids wait 3 hours for check in. It took the manager to apologize and say that he would give free breakfast. At that point, we were expecting our rooms to at least be half off. When I finally checked in, they said I just had to show up for breakfast. Turns out, I had to wait in line again the next morning to get a voucher. The rooms are outdated, hard to open the door, and small. The pool water was dirty, they didnt keep up with having towels and they didnt clean up after people got up from their chair. They were still utensils by the pool tables for hours. My kids were excited for the arcade/playground, and it was closed for the whole weekend. The restaurant food was gross and they watered down their drinks.

The new update is very nice, the beds are comfortable, rooms are clean, everyone is friendly I love this hotel resort. They have two swimming pools, an game room, pizza place, Starbucks, breakfast buffet. Book book book book u won't be mad at all

The hotel is aging. While staying there, it transitioned to a new owner. Hopefully they will pour some money into it. It is slated as a Resort, so it has resort fees. Outside of a food court and hotel pool, I am not sure why I was charged a resort fee. Didn't really see resort offerings to justify the additional $30 a day. Check in process is by computer. Very impersonal and no one could be found at the front desk. The pool in the picture is the highlight of the place everything else is ok.

I was concerned after reading so many terrible reviews, but went ahead with my reservation and was not dissatisfied. The building is a tad older and if you were looking for flaws, you could probably find some, but we weren’t. Our room and anywhere onsite we went was nice and clean. The location was great, we slept great, and the room attendants did a fantastic job. We had no trouble at all during our stay, and I would likely stay again. As we were leaving, it looked like they were unloading all new game room equipment, so suspect an upgrade is in progress as well.
