TMZ Celebrity Tour in Hollywood, CA

Our tour guide was unenthusiastic and spent the whole time looking at their phone so definitely no chance of celeb spottings (not that we were really expecting to see anyone like the vast majority of people!) The tour is Interspersed with many short video clips which we couldn’t see properly because of the glare of the sun on the tv screens. These were supposed to be funny but we found them too loud and irritating. The bus was comfortable and air conditioned, the driver was good and we avoided too much traffic. NB.This is a tour of celeb hang outs like restaurants, shops, hotels, clubs etc and where famous things have happened. You do not see celeb homes (which we gathered from the tour description, so that is not a criticism) There were some interesting highlights and I had chosen it after reading the positive reviews, but with hindsight I would have probably chosen the celeb homes tour with their competitor instead

We took this tour based on a recommendation from a driver of Big Bus Tours. The guide was fun and entertaining. We didn’t see any celebrities, but still fun to see hotspots and sights in Hollywood.

I've done the TMZ NYC tour, which is honestly one of the best tours of that city... so I HAD to try the LA tour when my friends came to town. Our guide, Tish was AMAZING. Full of energy, awesome facts and got us to participate in the work that is spotting a celebrity in LA. Tons of fun. Would do it again!

This is my experience and my opinion about this tour. It's not guaranteed you will see celebs. What is guaranteed, in my opinion, is you will be scolded and possibly be made to feel like a child. There are so many ridiculous rules I was waiting to be given a #2 pencil and Scantron. Like, we are not allowed to call a celeb by their character name. We MUST use their LEGAL name. Let's just say, the words LEGAL and LAWSUIT came up a lot. I don't think Trish liked me from the minute I boarded. Why? Not sure. I was belted in so I could not stand if I tried. I got a bit excited when a limo rolled down a window and I excitedly said 'Hi' which led her to berate me with a public and very personal stern warning using the microphone even though I was in the front seat. It was actually comical because, IN MY OPINION, she looked ridiculous. I didn't frantically wave my hands out the window or throw half my body out. I didn't scream. If I wasn't with friends, I would have gotten off the bus. One of the things she said, It's going to be a long ride if this is how you are going to behave. Accompanied by long pauses and eye stare. I tried to joke it off but that only made her madder. Her treatment of me was uncalled for and unacceptable. I get the impression Harvey rules by fear and his guides are terrified of getting fired or worse, sued. I understand the need for crowd control. It is a reasonable request. But do not treat your paying guests like children. A simple reminder of Hey, please don't...whatever..would have sufficed. As the tour continued, other guests were also scolded for 'misbehaving'. For m this was not a pleasant experience. My opin not worth giving Harvey a dime. Bye bye TMZ. No longer a fan of the show.

Great tour with Trish the dish and driver Eric. Part tour, part adventure, Part comedy this is so much more than just a drive and point out basics. So informative and fun the only bad part is time goes so fast you wish it was longer. I would do it every time I was in la cause each one would be unique. Awesome.
