Guests can see active volcanoes, majestic mountains, cascading waterfalls, beautiful valleys, breathtaking coastlines and more, complete with full narration from a knowledgeable guide. Experience the fiery eruption of Kilauea at sunset with Hawaii's oldest air tour company. Depart from the Kona International airport and join us for a "Full Circle Island Air Adventure". Five volcanoes, towering waterfalls, ancient Hawaiian valleys, beautiful mountains, 11 different climate zones, and hundreds of miles of breathtaking coastline. You will arrive on the east side of the island at the Kilauea Volcano just as the sun is setting in the west behind Mauna Loa. The twilight conditions over Kilauea will provide optimal viewing for you to experience the 2200 degree, red hot molten lava on the surface below. You will be flying in air conditioned comfort in our Cessna 208 Jet-Prop Caravan. Our aircraft seats are specially designed for air tours. EVERY SEAT IS A WINDOW SEAT at no extra charge. "Great Flight - Decent Value"

We took the sunset trip, and our pilot Wade did a great job of showing us much of the island. we were particularly interested in the Volcanoes, and he did a great job of framing those for us in spite of the clouds. Also, great views of waterfalls on North and east side.

"One of a kind adventure and view!"

My wife and I had the pleasure of having Captain Wade as our pilot on our Circle Island Tour. What a great experience! Wade made us very comfortable from the moment he met us in the boarding lounge, to the pre-flight safety instructions and right through until we landed. There were just the 3 of us in the plane. Because they have a pressurized cabin, we were able to climb to over 15,000 ft allowing us some one of a kind, incredible views of the tops of Mauna Loa and Mauna Kea and then down the other side to see the valleys and waterfalls before following the coast back to the airport. I was debating between a helicopter and the plane tour and I as so glad we choose Big Island Air. It was a wonderful trip I am sure we will never forget!

"Fabulous experience"

Our pilots were great. They were very charming and knowledgeable about the area. The plane was pressurized and so we got to fly over the top of the volcanoes. The island from the air is so amazingly beautiful. It was a fantastic experience. It's well worth the money. I would highly recommend it,
