The staff was invaluable and welcoming. The atmosphere was amazing, and my springer spaniel was constantly loved on. My son loved the pool and games available, and I loved having the outdoor fireplace to relax by.

Location is good! Close to all kinds of entertainment and dining Atmosphere was ok. This may be picky but, the music playing loudly throughout the hotel was just not our style so therefore, annoying. The room was very clean. Great water pressure in the shower and a comfortable stay overall. The view was where the cops and ambulances so, not a pretty view and we heard quite a few sirens at night. The toilet made this weird , loud sound about every hour so that woke us up often and the couple across the hall with the barking dog was annoying at 1 am also. We were not able to check in at 4pm. I understand that they were busy but, still frustrating when we drove over 9 hours to get there just to wait even longer to get in to our room about a half hour later. They did have a nice area of a small indoor pool and a small indoor hot tub open 24 hours. We personally did not use because the smell in the room was just off and the kids running around everywhere was not what we consider relaxing. Again, picky I know but this was our personal experience. They did have free popcorn in the evenings and also free coffee, tea and hot chocolate so that was a nice touch. The breakfast consisted of scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, fruit, cold cereal, make your own waffles, yogurt, and a few other choices. Unfortunately for us the 2 mornings, the hot food was not really hot and was very bland. Again, appreciative that they had these options, just not our favorite. I would stay here again if I had to but wouldn't be my first choice. The things I pointed out are some of the things that we look at to be important when booing rooms so just wanted to share our views and experiences for this review.

We had the best time at this hotel! The lady at the front desk-I cannot remember her name but she was there when we checked in around 8pm on Saturday January 3,2026. She was really nice and helpful with all of my questions. The location was perfect since we were attending Dollywood’s final weekend of the season. The kids had fun in the pool and there was a movie playing and other activities they could do. I will definitely be back!

This was our 2nd stay at the Ramsey. Everything went pretty well, except the pull out bed had a stain and a bunch of crumbs on it so we didn’t use it and there were some cosmetic things in the bathroom that could use repairs. All in all it’s a nice place with very friendly staff and a price that’s hard to beat.

"Comfortable but needs TLC"

The hotel staff were great. The front desk made us aware of the amenities. The lady at breakfast provided a detailed run down on the buffet and offered Togo plates if needed due to the crowd. Don’t skip the breakfast it’s included and it’s good. The location if you like pigeon forge and being near all the hustle and bustle it’s a good location. It’s just over a mile from the island and could be walked if you are able. The rooms need some TLC and updates however were clean and comfortable. The bathroom door bottom was severely damaged from water and should be replaced. Same issue in our friend’s room. The cost. I booked a week or so after my friend’s and paid more than double the cost for the night of new years. I checked their site to book directly and a third party. Otherwise the room costs I’ve seen online for future dates seem reasonable if booked ahead of time.
