Great Stay at the Ramsey – Highly Recommend! Stayed: June 21–27, 2025 Reviewed by: Cyndi & Ron from Winter Haven, FL We had such a great experience at the Ramsey Hotel in Pigeon Forge! From check-in to check-out, everything exceeded our expectations. Our room had 2 queen beds, and everything was super clean. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the pillows—wow, we wanted to take them home! The showers were also amazing, which is always a nice bonus when you're away from home. Breakfast each morning was a real treat. The buffet was delicious, and the staff made it even better. They were so friendly and welcoming. One hostess even sang quietly to herself as we walked by—such a sweet and genuine moment. You can tell the employees truly enjoy working there, and it shows in the service. We loved the indoor pool area, especially the little waterfalls behind it. There's also a hot tub and even a corn hole toss set up nearby, which was fun and relaxing. Another fun touch? In the evenings, they had a popcorn machine in the lobby offering fresh popcorn—free! It was a nice little late-night snack that made us smile. The location of the Ramsey is perfect—close to all the attractions in Pigeon Forge, but tucked just enough off the main drag to feel relaxing. Parking was easy, with plenty of space. And having a washer & dryer available in the hotel came in super handy during our stay. We and our family members would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Thanks, Ramsey, for a wonderful stay! — Cyndi & Ron, Winter Haven, FL

"Great stay very convenient location"

The staff was very nice and respectful. The little lady at breakfast that seats you was my absolute favorite. The hotel was nice but was a little outdated. We had a issue after a rain storm where it let rain in window and then a pipe busted in ceiling of our room so we had to change room. That was a little inconvenient because of having small children and having to repack our stuff to move rooms.. But room was still good just needed a little touch up work and baseboards cleaned. However the beds was super comfortable but bring your own pillow because the pillows wasn't great. I would recommend and stay again. Very happy with everyone there and my grandchildren loved the pool. I would have gave 5 starts but because we had to move rooms is what made me give a 4 star. Thank you Ramsey staff you all are absolutely one of the best for hospitality and I have traveled around the world many times in my life.

The Ramsey has been very nice, the two times we have stayed there. The building is outdated and the pillows are not the best, but we stay there because of the Hospitality. When Miss Judy greets you in the morning at the hostess stand it is delightful. Cayla, Terri, and Sodona provided excellent customer service. Cayla went above and beyond I noticed several times, asking guest how their trip was going. Overall a great experience again!

"Friendly Staff, Good Breakfast, and a Great Location!"

We stayed in this beautiful hotel in the heart of the Pigeon Forge town in the month of June, 2025. The hotel staff are friendly and the breakfast is perfect for everyone. When I and my wife were walking in the morning met a friendly hotel staff and a landscape supervisor Scott Smith. He was helpful and suggested the best places to see in and around Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. I also like to mention Paula - Front Desk staff who helped to provide a much needed extension for 1 more day! It worked great for our family with 2 kids which led to see beautiful places in the Smokey Mountains and around.

Our recent stay at The Ramsey Hotel and Convention Center in Pigeon Forge had its ups and downs. We stayed in a standard double queen room, and while the room was clean and generally comfortable, there were a few things that impacted the overall experience. At check-in, the receptionist seemed new or still gaining confidence, and the interaction lacked the warm, welcoming tone we typically expect from hospitality staff. It wasn’t a major issue, but it set a less-than-ideal first impression. One of the challenges during our stay was a persistent water dripping sound throughout the night, possibly from plumbing or nearby mechanical systems, which made restful sleep difficult and led to some discomfort by morning. Additionally, while the bathroom was clean, there was a visible crack in one of the vinyl panels, which didn’t affect use but was noticeable. That said, there were also clear positives. The hotel offers great amenities, including a clean indoor pool and hot tub, which were both enjoyable and relaxing. The complimentary coffee and tea station in the lobby was a thoughtful touch that we appreciated during our stay. Breakfast, while limited in variety, was freshly prepared and satisfying. A special thank you to Paula at checkout, who was kind, professional, and took the time to listen to our feedback. She assured us she would share our concerns with management, and her attentive service helped leave us with a more positive final impression. Overall, the hotel has potential. With a few improvements in guest service and attention to maintenance, it could offer a much more enjoyable and consistent experience.
