"Women's Ministries Conference"
TripAdvisor user rating 5.0 out of 5

The Ramsey Hotel has been one of the finest venues we have ever selected for our Women’s Conference. The level of excellence demonstrated by the entire team made a significant impact on the success of our event. Jeff Bradley, Lena Marler, and Shirley Byrd were exceptional to work with as event planners. They went above and beyond to accommodate nearly 500 attendees, ensuring every detail—from coordinating the venue space to arranging hotel accommodations—was handled with professionalism and care. Their guidance throughout the entire process made planning seamless and stress-free. Karl LaPoint and Sammy Click, our Convention Services team, provided outstanding support. They meticulously arranged the convention center and staging exactly to our specifications and remained attentive from the beginning of each day until the close of each evening. Their willingness to assist, positive attitude, and commitment to excellence never wavered, regardless of our requests. This team has truly been one of the best we have had the privilege of working with. We, along with our church family, look forward with great anticipation to returning in April 2027. Thank you for your exceptional service and for making us feel so valued.

"Not the greatest experience"

I stayed two different nights. Both visits the wait at the front desk was so long. Which is crazy especially when you’re already so tired. Then I get to my room and the sheets look so nasty. I call the front desk and they tell me they will send someone to change them, they never did. Our toilet didn’t flush plus we had an old toilet paper roll on there. They didn’t even change the toilet paper and the toilet wasn’t flushed because you couldn’t flush it. The first night people’s dogs were barking, and I was on the first floor and somebody was right outside my window working on their car second visit kids were very loud. I will say they offer a very nice breakfast in the morning.

"Buffet was a joke! Pool way to small!"

Breakfast pictures made me book our stay.. BIG mistake! We stayed 4 nights. Every morning breakfast was the same. Bland grits & gravy, scrabbled eggs, waffles, biscuit and sausage links. Yogart & granola. 2 cereal options. Sounds like a great verity however, this was every morning. Zero change up. Boiled eggs, muffin, bagel with cream cheese and fresh fruit would have been a nicer option. Dont get hooked like we did, because the pictures made it seem fantastic. It was far from. The pool area is a complete disaster. Pictures can be deceiving. Please, please, please have your babies wear nonslip shoes while walking in the pool area. The water floods the floor and we watched several children fall the short time we tried to use the pool. More seating is a must! When the movie is playing, every night at 8, with all the noise it's to over whelming to enjoy the pool or the movie. Playing a movie in the pool room is a fantastic idea, but it needs better structure. And for the love of all the germs....please have someone assist these babies with that popcorn machine. No idea where the parents are but someone should stepped in and make the bags of popcorn and had them set out. The outside fire pit was amazing. The hot tea, coffee, hot chocolate bar was a joke. The hot water for the teas & hot chocolate were luke warm at best. Coffee ... I wasn't brave enough to try. As for our room. We were on the bottom floor parking lot side. We could hear the music played in the lobby and under the patio lugage pickup area every time it was on from our room. Thats how loud it was. Or how thin the walls are. The doors are so thin, the people in the hall sounded like they were in the room with us. There is no privacy in the bathroom as well. From our room, we would hear every ones toilet around us flush. Every shower and sink that was running. We could hear everything happening in the halls like it was in our room with us. The water pressure is amazing but the way the shower doors are mounted, they is no way when you take a shower, you dont soak the floor. And dont worry about turning on the exhaust fan....there wasn't one in our bathroom. And the toilet ran way to long after flushing. Since the pool is open 24 hours. Having a staff member to monitor the pool and halls would have made a big difference with kids running around the halls at all hours of the night. Our room was comfortable and clean. Just extremely noisy. Very convenient to a lot on the strip. However we would not stay again because the breakfast was mediocre at best, noise the entire stay, mess of the pool room and not having items stocked like they should have been. We will book else where for our trip back to Pigeon Forge.

"Horrible Receptionist"
TripAdvisor user rating 1.0 out of 5
Reviewed April 03, 2026 NEW
I was just checking in and this rude receptionist was having a tantrum. She was on the phone for a long time and the first thing she said to me, “116?” So I gave her a look of what is 116 and so I replied I am checking in. Apparently, her coworker mentioned 116 and left. She asked for my name and I was not finished with what I’m saying. So she repeated, “Your name”. I gave my name and she bluntly said your room is not ready yet. Without even saying welcome or hello but gave me an attitude. So this happened 2:15 pm on April 3rd. Today. That’s the face of what Ramsey Hotel is right now. Then I asked if we can’t check in yet. She said “no because your room is not ready yet” with a very bad tone and attitude. I asked because sometimes, there are already available rooms. Now that we are in, the lady that checked me in, she was very young, was far far very nice and friendly compared to the other one.
