You’ll explore National Mall and more from the comfort of an all-electric Red Roadster for the ride of a lifetime. From memorials to monuments, you’ll see it all on this twilight tour.

Description

Ready to test your night-photography skills and see some jaw-dropping views while learning the history of the United States through the National Mall? Hop on our all-electric Red Roadsters and get ready for the ride of your vacation!

We’ll start our tour at the Smithsonian metro station, where our guides will take you back in time to the city’s origins and give you some tips for exploring the city on you own. As we work our way through the Smithsonian complex, our guides will regale you with story behind our amazing museums and help you choose which one you will visit during your stay.

Next we’ll take you past two of DC’s most incredible monuments, the Washington Monument and the Jefferson Memorial. Afterwards, you’ll be able to wander through the FDR and MLK memorials and enjoy a stroll along the jaw-dropping Tidal Basin at sunset.

Continue on past the World War I and World War II Memorials to the Lincoln Memorial, where you will be blown away by views of the Potomac River and the National Mall sparkling in the dark.

You’ll be entertained by stories of the city’s history, statues, and famous buildings on your way to the White House, where you’ll see possibly the most iconic American structure. Continue on towards Capitol Hill and be astounded by the Supreme Court, the Capitol Building, and the Library of Congress. End your tour on a high note by asking your guide for some recommendations for the rest of your stay in the city.

Libby did a great job taking us to the monuments and letting us explore. She was so knowledgeable and just overall fun to interact with for the whole tour. I would highly recommend this to anyone who likes the fun of riding on golf carts.

Tours are approximately 2 hours long.

Where does the tour begin?
Meet your tour guide at 12th & Independence Ave., SW, Washington DC (Smithsonian Metro Stop) at the base of the Department of Agriculture Building.

Are children welcome on the tour?
Yes. Children under the age of 4 must sit on a parent’s lap during the tour. Please consider the late nature of this tour when deciding to bring children.

What should I wear?
We recommend wearing comfortable, weather-appropriate attire as well as sturdy walking shoes. While you will not be walking during the tour, closed-toe shoes are the most comfortable for touring Washington DC. Since the tour is at night, it is recommended that guests also bring a jacket.

Is a tour guide gratuity included in my price?
No. Tips for tour guides are always appreciated, but not required or included in your tour price.

Is the tour rain or shine?
Yes. A little rain won’t ruin the fun. However, in the case of extreme weather, your tour may be canceled. Your tour guide will contact you in this rare situation.

Does the tour include a stop for food and drinks?
No. Be sure to ask your tour guide for restaurant recommendations after the tour.

Can I smoke on the tour?
No. Smoking is prohibited while the tour is in progress.

Will I need to walk anywhere?
With the all-electric Red Roadster, guests do not need to walk. Sit back and enjoy touring Washington DC.
