One of the Hawaii Big Island’s top zipline tours, Kohala Zipline Adventure offers a one-of-a-kind experience for first-time and seasoned zipliners alike. Guests can enjoy riding through a lush mauka (mountain) forest, which spans a riverbed near the inactive volcano, Kohala. The three-hour tours are led by professional guides who are First Aid, CPR and ACCT certified.

The tour lasts 3 hours.
All participants must wear comfortable closed-toed shoes. There is a bit of walking and climbing involved in the activity. It is recommended that participants wear lightweight pants, capris, or knee-length shorts, and a light sweatshirt for the most comfort.
All participants must weigh between 70 and 270 pounds. This is strictly enforced for the safety of all guests and the guides. Guests will be weighed upon check-in. In addition, participants must be in good health and without neck or back injuries. Pregnant women are not allowed to participated, and those with a fear of heights should not join the tour.
Children ages 8-13 are required to have a parent participate on the zipline tour with them and sign their participation agreement.
All guides are CPR, First Aid, and ACCT certified. Before embarking on the zipline adventure, participants are trained in using the equipment and lines. Additional safety measures are in place throughout the activity.
Transportation is available for guests lodging at all major Kona and Kohala Coast resorts and hotels for the 8:30 am and 1:30 pm tours only.
