Good To Know

Located amidst the lush jungles of Maui, offering a truly immersive natural experience.
Spectacular panoramic views of Maui's pristine landscapes and native wildlife sightings along the way.
Check-in is 30 minutes prior to your tour time. If you arrive earlier, even better. You'll have time to use the restroom, put sunscreen on, or explore the park.
Participants must be at least 6 years old and weigh between 50–250lbs. A tandem guide is required for children weighing 45–49 lbs. Price for tandem is full regular price.
Wear weather-appropriate, comfortable clothing and closed-toe athletic or hiking shoes. Remove any dangling items, such as loose-fitting clothing and jewelry.
Cameras, phones and GoPros are allowed at the participant's own discretion.
Not recommended for individuals who are pregnant, have serious neck, back or joint injuries, or chronic heart problems.
Please be prepared to walk a flight of stairs or a short distance over uneven terrain.
Includes use of gear and equipment, complimentary snacks and drinks, and a professional guide.

Description

Take an exhilarating adventure through the Maui rainforest with Jungle Zipline Maui. Located on the North Shore of Maui, Jungle Zipline Maui's eco tours traverse a tropical valley, an area known since ancient times as Waipio.

These guided tours bring you in direct contact with native Hawaiian plants and traditional Hawaiian Taro farming. With soaring platforms built into majestic trees, accentuated by arching swinging bridges and state-of-the-art zipline design and construction, the course promises the best of Maui zipline adventures—serene and thrilling all at once.

Choose from exciting five-line or eight-line courses, complete with a professional guide, use of gear, and stunning scenery. Snacks and refreshments are also provided.

"Great Adventure!"

This was a great adventure! Our group was a lot of fun and our guides, Casey and John, were great! They were both very knowledgeable and had a lot of fun with all of us in the group. There's some walking up and down terrain but it's not bad. I only wish there were more lines!

My husband and I had gone to Maui for his birthday, but the huge storm system that hit there—and the rest of the Hawaiian islands—meant that we spent a big chunk of time hunkering down in the rain. We stayed in Hana, which is very beautiful but very remote, and the round trip to Jungle Zipline on the otherworldly gorgeous but challenging Hana Highway took 4 hours all told. We had booked an 8-line tour on Friday the 13th, but that turned out to be one of our most lucky days for sunshine in weather and people. The Jungle Zipline folks were spectacular—from Sophie and Lady Nanni (the Canine Goodwill Ambassador) at Check-in, to Brian who helped us get harnessed up and supplied expert information and good cheer, to our guides, Tom and Arie, whose mad skills and convivial grace made our first-time zipline experience a joyous adrenaline rush well worth our travel time! Asante sana, Tom! Keep rockin' the axe, Arie! And a Big Hang Loose and Mahalo to the whole Jungle Zipline Crew!

How old do you have to be to zipline?

Participants must be at least six (6) years old.

Are there weight restrictions?

Yes, the minimum weight is 50lbs and the maximum is 250lbs. If the weight is 45–49lbs, the participant must ride in tandem with a zipline guide. The price for tandem is full regular price.

What should I wear?

Please wear weather-appropriate, comfortable clothing, including longer shorts, leggings or pants (so you're more comfortable in the harness). Closed-toe shoes are required, preferably athletic or hiking shoes. If you wear closed-toe sandals, they need to have heel straps. Refrain from wearing white clothing or dangling items, including loose-fitting tops and jewelry. If the participant has long hair, please secure it in a low ponytail or braids.

What should I bring?

Please bring sunscreen, bug spray, and cash to tip your friendly guides. GoPros, phones and cameras are allowed but at each participant's discretion.

Do we zipline in the rain?

Yes, ziplining is fun in the rain. Zipline tours push through rain or shine. If there is inclement weather during or before the tour, the operator will contact you to reschedule for the next available date and time.

How early should I arrive for the tour?

Please arrive at least 30 minutes before tour time to check in, sign the waiver, and put on gear at the park.

Are there any health restrictions?

Yes, the zipline tour is not recommended for participants who are pregnant, have serious neck, back or joint injuries, or chronic heart problems. Participants must be able to walk a flight of stairs or a short distance over uneven terrain.

Is smoking or drinking allowed?

No smoking, alcohol, or drug use is permitted at any time before or throughout the zip line tour.
