"Amazing hotel, very nice"

Amazing place. The hotel workers park your car for you and the hotel is very nice. The bathrooms are very clean and there were many amenities to use for free. Some of the snacks and the Fiji water was kind of expensive but the rest of the hotel was amazing.

"They could not hire nicer people if they tried !"

I recently found my self in a position where I am traveling 200 days out of the year and learned how important it is to mention a good thing when I see it! This hotel is filled with people who really care / have fun with their jobs. I arrived from the states and I was tired and worn down. I found my self at hotel restaurant azure or something. I was fortunate to be served by and Peter and Temetha ( i am sorry for butchering that} could not have been kinder to the people at the bar. The room was filled with All walks of life. These two had everyone laughing and enjoying their stays. Watching these two make sure everyone was truly enjoying their stay... It was like Disney level attention to customer service . Great job IHG!

"Great Stay, but a Few Frustrations"
TripAdvisor user rating 3 out of 5

I recently stayed at the Intercontinental Toronto and overall had a pleasant experience. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and the hotel itself was clean and well-maintained. However, there were a few issues that impacted my stay. First, all mandatory fees should be included in the booking price. The hotel requires guests to purchase an amenities package, which, unless you plan to spend additional money at the property (restaurant, spa, etc.), is essentially just paying for two bottles of water. This should be an optional fee, not a mandatory charge. Secondly, the rooms have no airflow. I understand that on higher floors, opening windows fully isn’t an option for safety reasons, but they should at least be able to crack open slightly. If that isn’t possible, an air vent in the bathroom would help with circulation. Lastly, food delivery is a major hassle. There’s no safe or convenient place for drivers to stop and meet guests, making the process unnecessarily difficult. Despite these issues, I did enjoy my stay and appreciated the hospitality of the staff. With a few adjustments, this hotel could offer an even better experience for its guests. I would only recommend this location to friends and family if these adjustments were made.

"Excellent Customer Service despite some issues"
TripAdvisor user rating 4 out of 5

My family frequently stays here. The location is perfect for sporting events, concerts, shopping and theatre. The only minor complaint I have is that when booking through a third party (air miles for example) the check in process can be very frustrating (this situation has happened three times now) That being said Ardiz was very polite and professional and despite having to wait for a while during checkin, we love the hotel and will be back!

"InterContinental @ Toronto"
TripAdvisor user rating 4 out of 5

I stayed at the InterContinental Toronto Centre in downtown Toronto for 2 nights in late December 2024 with my young family. We took the train and the walk from Union station is short. The hotel was decorated nicely as it was just after the holidays. Check-in was fine. The hotel is very well located for sporting events (walked/went to a Raptors game at Scotiabank Arena), restaurants (all around), and theatres (walked to Meridian Hall for a show). The CN Tower, Ripley's Aquarium and Rogers Centre are also walking distance. We ate breakfast at the hotel restaurant; the buffet was good. We had a King Suite with a sofa bed; we also requested a rollaway bed (which was delivered). We used the pool once. Overall, we had a great time. Nice hotel to stay at with family.
