"DON'T GO! WASTE OF MONEY !"

Do not recommend! I truly believe most reviews are bots, AI generated reviews. As an actual customer for two seasons now and have had enough visits to give my honest feedback, this place is a one star at best! Save your money and go anywhere else. It's tempting due to heat in the valley and wanting to have fun to cool off, but let's speak truth. Half of the rides are closed each and everytime we have visited. Which makes the lines much longer for the remaining rides open. You will spend the entire day waiting in line and at best maybe catch 4 to 5 slides if you spend 5 to 6 hours. The choice to treat the water with the amount of bleach that burns your lungs is unbearable. Food prices extremely high. The locker fees are $15 bucks. If you don't pre purchase tickets way in advance or on sale you will spend $60 at the door. This place is over rated. It's glamorized online by photos that make it look fantastic! It's all a joke. In person and speaking truth most are closed and your waiting around in the heat. I do not recommend this place at all.

"Bait-and-Switch Pricing SCAM BEWARE"
TripAdvisor user rating 1 out of 5

Where do I begin, first off I don't know how it isn't ILLEGAL to advertise their FAKE pricing they had on their website. Not only did they show a promotional deal they have where it's only $20 per person for groups of 6 or more, only to find out after we excitingly called our close friends and family and invited others that deal was only for seasonal pass holders. 😡 But our poor kids were already so excited and we then saw that it was $34 for the day ONLY TO FIND OUT AFTER CLICKING 'BUY NOW' THAT THEY WERE $49. 🤬 So we went from expecting to pay $80 for our family of 4, to having to pay over $200. By the time we realize this we are already on the way and almost there - which is over an 1 hr drive for us and we did not want to let the kids down who have been through so much lately. They wouldn't let us bring in a cooler of only water bottles which should also be illegal in the weather we experience here. It has been a while but last time we went to Sunsplash, they let us bring the same cooler so thought Hurrican Habor would be the same but guess not! 🙃Then, half the rides weren't working and overall it was pretty disappointing to say they least, especially after the astronomical and unjust pricing. Definitely do not get your money's worth, I'll tell ya that.

"Fun set-up, long lines, weekday was not too bad"

Jul 28 2025 They sell Passes and Memberships for 2025 and soon 2026. Passes called "Prestige $175", "Gold $87", and "Silver $65" cover your entrance from Opening Day-thru-Oct 1 for the year of purchase, so buying/visiting earlier gives you the best value. (...however, "Silver" has black-out dates!). Annual Memberships, AKA "Prestige" and "Gold" (for some awful duplicative, thus confusing reason) are $189 & $111/yr -- begin on your date of purchase and last 1 yr. Prices above include the $10 on-line processing fee on each transaction AND the immoral & illegal charge of sales Tax on the processing fee. That should be fixed. After accidentally buying the wrong thing (Silver Pass, which expired a couple weekends later in September), I was able to reach a human by the Contact Form to request either a refund or a change to Gold Membership. (HH PHX's voice prompt 623-201-2000 was completely garbled, impossible to understand each prompt, Customer Service phone number 817-607-6121 went dead after a single ring. Pick up, hang-up. Tried the chat for 1 hr, but I had to leave for the park... The Contact Form responded 72 hrs later, and gave me the go-ahead to pay the difference for a Gold Membership. Went to the park with daughter and her friends ($32 daily add-on passes for each of them) and enjoyed the day. We are frugal and picky eaters, so we hand-stamped at lunch time and ate from our cooler in our (lucky find) shaded parking space. It's a relatively small park with a few large tube-based water rides that are fun to wait in line for. We went on a Monday just before school started (Jul 28) so I can't imagine waiting in longer lines during weekends. It's probably over-crowded on week-ends, as it felt at-capacity in the wave pool, lazy river, and perfectly managed in the kid's water-play and slides area. While there are thousands of chairs set up, I would not enjoy being a sardine in that park. Lastly, the time spent in line is a sure-fire way to sunburn, and don't forget (your) face! We plan to use (annual) membership and see how the experiences add-up and how the value feels after the year. If we visit 1x/month, 8 times total, the cost per visit per person will be $23. And if we were to get a second Gold Membership, that would drop the price to $14 per person, per trip. Both are reasonable, even potentially a GREAT Value. I will return to review next year, promise!

"Honestly shouldn't offer birthdays."
TripAdvisor user rating 2 out of 5
Reviewed July 15, 2025
Okay so the place is fun for that I can give it a good rating as the kids love it. However, this was a birthday party for an 8yo through the birthday party package purchasing area on their website which means it cost an arm and a leg per person and yet they could not be bothered to do anything in regards. What we usually expect from any and every place we have ever thrown a birthday is at least a designated area as well as some form of communication between my family the park and their staff, usually there is a dedicated member of a team to come and help with the party either setup get food and drinks etc. and who keeps communication for organization. Not at this location you literally pay for their birthday party package there is no contact in regards and it's just about as good as getting a normal ticket to the park with a snack attached basically... They do not have any info about anything, you cannot contact them as they are never available even their chat system does not work, we had 3 people calling and on chat for hours and nothing. My stepsons' mother had to go directly to their property to get info a day before as she noticed a discrepancy on her payment. We called corporate as she demanded a refund and they are playing ring around the rosey with her about it, even though they blatantly seemed to be getting over on people purchasing such huge packages we had a group of 20 people and that didn't matter they gave no direction, no one knew what was going on or that we had a party set to show up. There is no designated area or zone to be used for birthdays or from what we saw they did have an area in which they set aside for another party of larger group they cleaned it up setup everything for them and staffed the area for their party but not ours. We watched as they catered the other party as well as a group of incoming lifeguards doing training who received better treatment and seating. From what we could tell they double booked the area for the parties and since we were the smaller of the 2 they pretty much forgot about us. We all, including all 20 party participants will never ever spend money for a group ever again at this location. We all agreed it was terrible services. not organized. not planned well. Honestly shouldn't offer birthdays at all. To watch them care so much for one group of people and just throw us to the side was crazy.
