We wanted to stay in Fisherman's wharf and found this place had some excellent TripAdvisor reviews. After a long flight from Singapore, we appreciated the space in the Corner King One-Bedroom Suite with its two rooms, and even more so the Trader Joe's just a block away to find some great snacks! We can't comment on the restaurants as, save for drinks one night and coffee another, we ate elsewhere given there are so many places nearby. The location's the thing though - it's quite excellent, with so many things just one or two (short) blocks away: obviously walking around Fisherman's Wharf, the light rail (tram) along Beach Street to the Ferry Building and beyond; busses to North Beach (Little Italy) and to Coit Tower; and the turntable of the Powell-Mason cable car line ... but buy all-day tickets online as the ticket office was never open in the four days we were there!

We had a great experience here. Roy checked us in and was so kind and welcoming. The hotel also held our luggage while we explored San Francisco before check in time. Loved the s’mores bar, too!! Just as an FYI, there are cheaper overnight parking lots near by.

We recently had an excellent stay at the Hotel Zoe prior to leaving on a cruise. Our plans came together kind of at the last minute so we were surprised to get a good rate for the hotel and the location was perfect for our plans. As in previous visits, we planned to use public transportation to get around other than using Uber for hotel and ship transfers. The streetcars run only a block or so away and the bus that goes to the Golden Gate Bridge and Golden Gate Park stops across the street. There are plenty of eating places of all kinds nearby and it's an easy walk to the Cable car turntable, the San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park Visitor Center, Ghirardelli Square, Pier 39, etc. Our room was small but had adequate amenities and a comfortable bed. The only somewhat annoying thing is that they charge an "amenity" fee which includes a possible bike rental or a credit to use at the restaurant as well as ingredients for smores to prepare at the outdoor lounge. We only took advantage of the smores, but the overall rate was decent and the fee was clearly noted on our reservation. I would recommend the hotel for overall comfort, cleanliness, and location.

Great location for Fisherman's Wharf, easy walking distance to pier 39. Check in was quick, roomnice and clean, but no view, apart from building wall. Comfy bed and pillows, fridge mini bar, which is chargeable so do not touch. On check out I asked if everything was okay, knowing I would get deposit back, I was advised yes all okay. Was not until I got home they charged me £62 for use of mini bar which I did not use at all, I have contacted the hotel numerous times to get a refund,but they do not reply. So be very careful and ask for receipt and check before you leave this hotel. Not a very happy traveller as I hate being ripped off and will not return to this hotel.

Stayed for 3 nights at the beginning of our fly drive holiday from the UK. I changed from the original hotel selected in Union Square as I was concerned about safety at night. Very glad I did. This hotel is very well located for the wharf, bus tours, bicycle hire, Pier 39 and of course the famous Boudin bakery. It's a safe area. We had a very friendly greeting upon arrival. The staff are very nice. The room was spacious and clean. There is coffee provided every morning in reception which is a nice touch (and its nice!). There are plenty of chairs here for a relaxing sit. We didn't eat here but its close to a number of breakfast cafes, most notably the Holywood Cafe. The bar/restaurant has a nice relaxing vibe and the small terrace with 2 or 3 fire pits is a nice touch. We really enjoyed our stay and appreciated the daily maid service.
