Description

Leave San Francisco, if only for a few hours, and enjoy a half-day excursion to the world-famous Wine Country. All wine-tasting fees are included. This half-day wine-country tour is perfect for those who don't want to spend their entire day in the Napa and Sonoma Valleys.

Start your day around lunchtime as you head north to the Golden Gate Bridge. Enjoy a scenic drive over the Golden Gate Bridge to catch the signature San Francisco skyline in the distance. Next, you'll drive through the beautiful town of Sausalito, the seaside Mediterranean-like village harbored across the San Francisco Bay and famous for its sweeping views, on your way to Wine Country.

As the vine-covered hillsides come into view, you will visit two (2) of Tower Tours' favorite wineries for wine tastings and an exclusive estate tour! Experience the inner workings of Napa and Sonoma Valley wineries and their family histories as an expert wine host walks you through the fermentation process, barrel aging, bottling, and, of course, tastings of award-winning varietals! Enjoy 3-5 tastings of their signature blends at each winery.

The day concludes with a scenic drive back over the Golden Gate Bridge and into San Francisco as the sun slowly starts to set into the Pacific Ocean!

When do we check in?

Check-in is 20 minutes prior to your scheduled departure time.

Will I be transported back to my hotel after the tour?

All tours will conclude at Fisherman’s Wharf at our Main Office or Union Square at the Westin St. Francis Hotel.

Are meals included?

Aside from wine tastings, food and drinks are excluded from the ticket price. However, the tour offers ample time to purchase snacks and beverages.

What is included in the tour?

This wine tour from San Francisco includes transportation, narration by your professional guide, up to five (5) wine tastings, and an exclusive winery estate tour with barrel room views.

What should I wear?

Considering the daily changes in San Francisco weather, you should wear layers or bring a light jacket in the event it rains.

Is this tour suitable for children?

Yes, however all wine tastings are limited to guests age 21 and up.

Is seating on the bus reserved?

Seating is first-come-first-serve. Front seats are reserved only for guests with medical restrictions.

Can I bring a wheelchair on the bus?

If the wheelchair is collapsible, they may be able to store it underneath the bus. Subject to change based on capacity and bus assignments. Call the number on your e-ticket for inquiries regarding accessibility for your tour date.

Is there parking near the departure point at Fisherman's Warf?

Yes, public parking is available at several Fisherman’s Wharf neighborhood garages. Please allow ample time to accommodate traffic delays and to park your vehicle. You may park at NorthPoint Shopping Centre, 350 Beach Street Garage, or Pier 39 Garage, which charges according to the length of stay, time of day, and day of the week.
