My two kiddos and I had a great stay at the HGI the night before our cruise. From the pool late in the afternoon to dinner at the hotel restaurant to breakfast the next day before checkout…. All amazing. Nicole was our server for dinner and breakfast the next morning I cannot for the life of me remember her name because I was so all over the place due to the cruise but it was on 9/20 breakfast and she was also there the night before. Both were so great to the kids and I! Traveling alone as a single mom with kiddos sometimes can be pretty crazy so I appreciate them being so kind! Good news is, we are coming back October 24th so we will see you all again! Rooms were newly updated, pool area was really cute too! Kids loved the chess area as well!! See you all again soon!

We chose this hotel for the first two nights of our holiday before embarking on a cruise, anticipating a comfortable and restful stay. Unfortunately, our experience fell significantly short of expectations. Firstly, the air conditioning unit in our ocean-view room and outside was excessively noisy, making it impossible to use during the night. This disrupted our sleep on both nights of our stay. Furthermore, on Sunday morning, we were disturbed by construction work which lasted all day. The sound of drilling and other loud noises, along with the workers using the only functional elevator to transport tools and materials, made it difficult to relax. The rooms and especially the bathrooms need to be updated. The coffee machine in the room looked to be from the 80's and the coffee provided was horrible. Good job there was a Starbucks in the lobby! The pool also posed an issue, as I noticed a strong, unpleasant odour on my skin after using it. This deterred me from using the pool again during our stay. Lastly, while most of the staff were courteous, we encountered an unfortunate experience with one of the bar staff members who appeared miserable, unfriendly and unhelpful. In contrast, Shannon and the waitress who assisted us during dinner went above and beyond, providing exceptional service. The food in the Starlite restaurant was really good for dinner but a huge disappointment for breakfast. Overall, we were quite disappointed with our stay and, unfortunately, it has affected our perception of the hotel. While we understand that certain issues are beyond anyone’s control, the cumulative effect of these problems made for a less-than-ideal experience

The hotel was clean, staff was friendly and accommodating. The restaurant was delicious. Food was really good! Direct walk to the beach was great and pool area was clean and had plenty of chairs. The little shoppette had a good selection of food/drinks. There's a Starbucks in the lobby too. Close to all the touristy things.

Stay away! I work for a large company in Florida that has always stayed at the Hilton. My company, as usual, made the reservation and, as usual, everything would be paid for by the company, but when I tried to check in, “Yaris” (front desk) told me that I was required to pay $100 for a security deposit. I explained that it is normally deducted from the company card, but she insisted with a lot of attitude and said that it was the only way to do it, i agree as i was in a hurry. I only accept the $100 on my card to be back after the stay, However, what she did was charge my card for the two nights plus the security deposit. I asked to cancel the transaction indirectly, but she refused. I found it very strange. It seemed like something with the intention. I spoke to the manager (Adan). He also treated me very badly, saying that it was impossible to cancel. My wife works at Hilton, so i figured right away that was a setup. I called my company. They said it was absurd and canceled the entire reservation, putting me in another Hilton two blocks away, but still got charged a cancelation fee for this reservation. Stay away from this hotel. Everything here seems very strange. High suspicion of fraud with all the workers taking part. Be careful when you put your credit card down here.

Great location right on the beach. Across the street from a Publix supermarket-so convenient. Get your water, ice teas, sunscreen etc at Publix because it's very expensive to get it in the lobby store. I nearly fainted when they told me how much one ice tea was! Pool area was small but nice with a bar and they serve food until 7pm or so. It stinks that you have to pay a parking fee when there's plenty of parking lot availible - but that's another way to make money. A 10-15 minute drive to Port Canaveral, close to many restaurants and bars and a 10 minute drive to Cocoa Village which is a quaint downtown area across the Banana and Indian Rivers . Love Cocoa Beach and the vibe there.
