An exclusive landing flight departing from Grand Canyon West. Total duration is approximately 30 minutes.
Experience magnificent aerial views as you fly over the Grand Canyon, and descend 3,500 feet below the rim to explore and capture one-of-a-kind photos.
Flight time is about 10 minutes each way aboard a premier ECO-star helicopter, with a 20-minute landing above the Colorado River.
Max weight for each passenger is 300lbs.
This experience requires the purchase of a Grand Canyon West general admission ticket (starting at $49) for entry into the park.
Children 2 and older are required to have their own seats and minors must be accompanied by an adult.
All passengers age 18 and older must have a valid photo ID 18; children under the age of 2 must have proof of age (passport or birth certificate) to ride on a lap.
There are no restrooms at the bottom of the Grand Canyon during the landing, so make sure to use one before the flight.

"Grand Canyon with Skywalk"

Bucket list trip! We did the Grand Canyon with skywalk. It was awesome - fantastic views to and from the skywalk. The skywalk itself is amazing. Everything by this company was done really well - from the pick up at our hotel, the short wait at the terminal, the flight, skywalk, drop off to our hotel. Very professional operation - go with this company if you are thinking of doing this trip! Travis was our pilot - did a great job. We felt very comfortable and safe. John was the shuttle driver when we got to the skywalk - he is awesome. He’s worked there for some time and had lots of history of the area. Great company with great employees. Thank you, Maverick, for a fantastic adventure!!!!

GO! Save up your nickels and take the Maverick helicopter over Grand Canyon! You will have zero regrets! The entire experience was stellar; everyone was helpful, professional, and friendly. My pilot, Forrest, was amazing! He was knowledgeable and he loves the Canyon. I sometimes have motion sickness issues, but I barely felt it in the modern helicopter. I can recommend this trip completely.

Yes, the helicopter tour is fun for all ages! But minor passengers must be accompanied by adults. Children 2 years old and above are required to have their own seat, while children under 2 can only be considered a lap child with proof of age—passport or birth certificate.

Is there a weight limit?

The maximum weight limit per person is 300lbs, and 1,240lbs for total passenger weight on the helicopter. Please note that guests over the weight limit will need to purchase two seats, and inaccurately stated body weights may be canceled without a refund.

Are pregnant women allowed to board the helicopter?

Yes, pregnant guests fly with Maverick Helicopters often. However, it is always recommended to check with your doctor before booking.

What do I need to bring?

Can I bring a beverage on the flight?

Guests are allowed to bring bottled water on the flight. All other beverages will not be allowed in the helicopter.

Can I use my cellphone during the flight?

Yes, but use it only for taking photos and videos—calls, messaging, and data use are prohibited on the helicopter. Set your mobile phone on airplane mode or turn it off before boarding. Please note that flash photography is not allowed.

Can I take pictures of the aircraft?

Yes, you can take pictures of the aircraft after landing, but not on the airport ramp.
