Hotel Fera Anaheim, a DoubleTree by Hilton in Orange, CA

The Hotel Fera Anaheim is a good, nice, clean hotel. Its location is located across the street from the UC Irvine Medical Center and is close by to the Orange Outlet Mall. The front desk employees were extremely friendly, helpful and went above and beyond in helping us during our stay. The room was clean, but beware when showering; the way the shower head and shower curtains were positioned (the shower head appeared broken as you could not adjust the settings nor the angle of it), it ended up leaking water onto the bathroom floor (unbeknownst to me at the time). The fridge really worked well and kept our drinks really cold. The only negative would be ordering room service from the restaurant downstairs (The Peel Craftbar and Kitchen). The first time we ordered breakfast in the morning, a little over an hour had passed and we figured they must have been busy. We tried calling the restaurant (there is no direct number, you have to be connected by the front desk), but no one answered the phone after 3 tries. On the last try when the front desk clerk saw that we had called a few times already. she asked if there was something she could help us with. We explained that we were waiting for our food from room service and she related that she would personally check on our order. The next thing we know, the front desk clerk brought our food to our room! Outstanding service. The next day we ordered room service again and we waited about two hours and had not received our food yet. We called the restaurant and whomever answered the phone, was very curt and short with us, said they would check on our order and hung up without saying anything else. Within about 15 minutes, an employee brought our food to our room and apologized profusely, even though it was not their fault. The food was good, though. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet, except our room was on the hospital side so a lot of sirens were heard throughout the night (we even saw the Medevac helicopter land at the hospital!).

Yesterday we came to the peel for breakfast and it was extremely busy. There was a long line and it took a while to be seated then another while for before somebody came to talk to us. Ashley came over asked us if we had been helped, and when she found out we she jumped right in took our order brought our drinks out. It was very sweet and accommodating. Not only for my husband and myself, but for the tables next to us as well she jumped in as if she was a server alreadyand handled everything well. She other staff like Ashley other reason we keep coming back to the Fera

When I arrived to check in, the valet instructed me to take a ticket and park in the guest parking lot next to the valet area. After leaving the hotel briefly to get food for my children, I returned to find that the guest parking area was completely full, with more than 20 spaces reserved for exhibits. The parking area was full of cars trying to find an open space. At one point, several cars—including mine—were stuck in the third aisle, which functioned only as an entrance and not an exit. I ultimately had to call the front desk to request assistance, asking if someone could come outside to help vehicles back out and exit the area. Despite this, I waited approximately 30 minutes before a parking space became available. Later that evening, as I was preparing to shower, I noticed that the bathtub was extremely dirty, with visible stains and damage. The following morning, I contacted the front desk and was told that Kayla would be available later in the day and that I could discuss my concerns with her then. I attempted to contact Kayla multiple times and left voicemails for both her and the general manager; however, I never received a response. Based on this experience, I will not be staying at The Fera in the future.

This hotel is centrally located near Disneyland, Angel Stadium and the Pond. We were able to attend multiple local events due to close proximity.

My family and I had to go down to Orange County for Thanksgiving so we decided to stay at the Doubletree Fera. We are so glad we did. Leo Rosa at the front desk was so helpful and accommodating. We would definitely come back and highly recommend this to our friends and family. Thank you, Leo for making her stay wonderful and we look forward to coming back.
