Grounds are beautiful and location couldn't be better as sounds of Beach Blvd and Knotts kept minimal but the sounds of so CA warming up for spring can be seen, smelled and the faces reflect our communities. All ethnicities, young and old, some homeless but no sanitary or safety concerns flagged. Close to shopping, food, groceries and supplies. Smoking rules are unclear but never smelled anything but did see guests near vehicles or under trees doing so. Very clean lobby area. Do NOT count on breakfast if you diabetic... No matter the kind. Not one item with a carb/sugar gram serving less than 26/22 unless bread.. honey or white?! Bad! But the morning coffee is hot, three kinds and strong. Add some steaming hot water if you like it different. Room clean but floors, couches and windows and doors need serious looking to. Suggest that staff check the rooms before for missing lamps and coffee makers. Changed rooms. Same issue each time.

Hair dye was transferred onto a towel after my shower and I was charged $108 for two towels absolutely absurd they will rip you off this is the first bad experience I've had there I don't know what the hell the problem is this is not acceptable

The hotel is old but clean. Staff are nice. Lots of people on the weekend but enough parking for all guests. Close to everything including the best Resto.
