"Terrible Customer Service"
TripAdvisor user rating 1.0 out of 5
Reviewed November 03, 2025 NEW
After saving up her money, my daughter purchased a day ticket on the Canada’s Wonderland website for October 23. The day before she planned to go, she discovered the park was scheduled to be closed — even though their system still allowed her to purchase a ticket for that date. She requested a refund, but the park refused, citing a strict no-refund policy, and only offered to transfer the ticket to a date in 2025. Since we don’t live near Canada’s Wonderland, she will not have the opportunity to use the ticket this year. Despite multiple follow-ups, Canada’s Wonderland has been dismissive and continues to refuse a refund for a ticket they should never have sold in the first place. If you ordered a product online and learned it was unavailable, wouldn’t you expect a refund? Canada’s Wonderland has taken no responsibility for selling a ticket on a day they were closed. Their policy is inflexible, and their customer service has been extremely disappointing. It's unfortunate that a young guest trying to enjoy a day at the park is penalized due to their system error. If you're planning on going here, be very careful as they have terrible customer service.

"Halloween Haunt - now all about the money!"
TripAdvisor user rating 3.0 out of 5

Every year I enjoy taking my son and nephews to Halloween Haunt. This year however, I was really disappointed with the process and the cost. I paid online for 3 tickets. We don’t do the rides so I don’t have a seasons pass. I got to the park, paid extra for the Conjuring Universe, then walked to the far side of the park to find out that I needed to get a wrist band before I could do the mazes. We walked back and had to stand in a long line to get wrist bands to walk all the way back. No one appeared very helpful, as I would have assumed someone at the gate would have told me. I asked a staff where I could buy tickets for the Conjuring, and was simply told ‘by the mountain’. We paid a lot of money for this experience, and I feel like it just wasn’t worth it this year. **side note - the ghouls, ghosts and zombies did a great job at the scares!**

"They lie about included “perks.”"

They advertise on their site (still) that the Halloween Haunt is included with a Gold Pass, as it has always been. But it’s not anymore. They lie. Now, it’s admission “during” the Haunt but not “to” the Haunt. If you don’t have the extra money for their wristbands, don’t bother going. If you spent all year making payments on their payment plan so you’d have that perk, you do not.

"Not worth the money."
TripAdvisor user rating 1.0 out of 5

Save your money. The 6 haunted Halloween attractions cost extra in 2025. Me and my 2 kids have been going for years and this was part of the annual pass and a tradition for us. This was extremely disappointing as that was one of the perks in getting the pass and we are no longer going to be pass holders as there is no value in it anymore for us. Extremely disappointed how this was rolled out by Canada's Wonderland with no notice.

"Canadas Wonderland - a very appropriate name"

If you like roller coasters just do it Some fantastic rides and so glad we visited. It's quite a way out on the subway network and if the water park/rides had been open we would have been really pushed for time due to the limited opening hours Get the skip the line add-on and if visiting during peak season i would suggest a 2 day visit to experience the best the park has to offer. Highlights - Alpen fury. Such a good ride enjoyed it so much. The Bat - boomerang style coster Less fun - Wilde Beast and Minebuster. Rough Woodies but still good. Only 4 *s because it wasn't as good as sister park Cedar Point
