"Basic nights stay"

We have been to this hotel many times in the past, the location really can not be beat. It is close to Ikea, Vaughan Mills, Costco. There are not many restaurants in the area though. We had an event at the international center and had some shopping planned. Having been to this hotel many times I had an expectation I know what they are capable of and I have to say it was not met. The rooms were ok but the TV time to get an upgrade they are horrible. The shower head barely had any pressure while the sink had too much pressure it would fill with water before it could drain. Ample hot water. We only had 2 bath towels for a party of 3 so right away I had to call for more. Over all the rooms pass. The hotel itself though shows no pride, there is garbage in the trees outside and by the lights/sign, the pool roof filter has mold all over it, the entire pool just felt very dingy. Leaves all over the parking lot should be raked up. The restaurant - for breakfast way over priced 19.99 per adult for a basic continental breakfast that most hotels offer for free. Dinner is when the restaurant becomes full service and it was very delicious I would definitely have dinner again. Would I avoid this hotel, no, would I use the pool again, no Would I try and find a different hotel first, yes

"Early check-in fee feels punitive against HHonors members"

Terrible. Charged me $50 to check-in early. I’m a Hilton Honors Diamond member. This is not a corporate property. It is an independent hotel licensed by Hilton. It is a dilapidated hotel and is a showing end of life. Tiny non-HD TV , noisy (and dusty) air con unit and buzzing mini fridge. Front desk put me on the nosiest floor with 5 families adjacent to my room with little kids who screamed down the hallways till late. I paid a premium to stay at this place compared to nearby properties and I feel dumb to have done so. I usually don’t like to put in energy in something negative but I have to complain to Hilton’s Executive Team in the USA and CEO Christopher J. Nassetta’s office regarding this matter.

Excellent service. Friendly staff. Good food. They will remember your name!! Clean hotel. Have Natalia make you a great drink!!! Good location. Close to almost everything. Great parking. Impressed with the happy hour menu Lastly easy trip for shopping and the hotel is so central that it made navigating the routes and finding our favourite store easy.

"This is a HILTON? How on earth!?"

1) The TV didn't work and I had to call 3 times in 90 minutes for someone to actually come help fix it. When they "fixed" it, it was still all salt and pepper static. Old, chunky 32" flat screen tv... 2) The fire alarm issue they claim to have fixed back in 2023 is still an issue. (It rang for a good 5 mins before staff came over the P.A to let us know it was a false alarm. 3) The beds are VERY firm and the duvet cover was covered in long black hairs... 4) The bathroom ceiling is bubbling/peeling and the AC unit is EXTREMELY loud.

Nice bed but they're incredibly loud hallways. My wife had to knock on the neighbor's door to get them to quiet down. There were lots of youth sports folks around as well which were contributing down to the noise. The front desk staff was excellent.
