While at Busch Gardens, I loved strolling through Lorikeet Glen. The rainbow lorikeets really seemed to like me, or maybe it was just the nectar! To get the full experience like I did make sure to purchase a cup of nectar at the entrance to Lorikeet Glen.

"Amazing Park"
April 2023
The Fun Card was incredible and a great value! We got into the pristine park every afternoon and evening for a week. We were so fortunate to be in Williamsburg during our northern school break. It was not school break in the south, so we had no lines at the park! My 8 and 10 year old had an absolute blast!

Tip: Park food is pricey, so plan to visit museums and do tours in the morning, eat a picnic lunch, then do Busch Gardens in the late afternoon through evening. If you hit the timing right like we did, there is plenty of time for ample coaster rides!

"Beautiful Park"
April 2023
I spent the day at Busch Gardens Williamsburg during the last week of March. The weather was beautiful and the park was very quiet -- so, it was a great day to visit the park. The park was beautiful and squeaky clean. I appreciated the European theming throughout the park, along with the beautiful grounds and landscaping. The use of the terrain and bodies of water among so many of their rides was really nice. Almost all of the employees whom I encountered in the park were extremely friendly. I spent the entire day riding rides -- mostly roller coasters, with very little to no waits on each and every one of them. I enjoyed all of the rides that I rode, especially Griffon. My only disappointment was that Pantheon was closed for the day. This was the main ride in the park that I was looking forward to riding, followed by Griffon. Unfortunately, Griffon was closed until the last 30 minutes that the park was open. At least I was able to get four consecutive rides on it, which made up for a lot of my disappointment that it had been closed all day up until this point. Still, it was disappointing to travel several hours to visit the park, to find Pantheon closed all day. Pantheon had been closed a few days earlier, but then it had been open. The last info that I’d got was that Pantheon was open. Then when I got to the park, it was closed -- possibly technical issues? Still, in the end, I had a nice day at the park. But I do know that I would've had a better time if Pantheon had been open and Griffon had opened much earlier in the day than it did. Almost forgot to add: The park is large, but easy to navigate. I didn't mind walking throughout the park most of the day. But I did take advantage of the sky ride a few times, since it was available to ride. I like the idea of having a sky ride available, so guests have that option as a means to get to and from different areas of the park. The reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the situation with Pantheon being closed all day and Griffon opening only in the last 30 minutes that the park was open. Also, the food was very expensive. I definitely paid more for my meal than it should have cost. In fact, I’ve gotten the same meal at other parks, and they have been considerably less in price.

Tip: Dining is very expensive. Don't expect to find an inexpensive meal in the park. If you are staying in Williamsburg, there is a city bus with a route that goes to and from the park. Also, there are a string of hotels within a five or so minute drive from the park. I stayed at the Best Western on York Street, which was a very nice hotel and five minutes by car to Busch Gardens.

We knew rain was coming at some point on our Sunday visit. Got to the park at 10am and started riding rides.. Started to rain around noon for a 2 hours. Rides shut down but we made the best of it! After the storm we continue adventuring the park and had a blast! Beautiful park!

"Busch Gardens"
March 2022
It was a beautiful day, the temperature was 80° à perfect day. But, was extremely disappointed in the park. There were very few rides open for adults. The only thing that we could due at an amusement park was shop or eat. Was not really the reason we paid à ton of money for to enjoy the park. Since there where very few rides open the lines were ridiculous long. In 6 hours at the park we were only able to get on 2 rides. So so disappointed. Took 2 teenagers along with us that were on their spring break from college. They also were very let down.
