"Not enjoyable"

Beds are hard. The bathroom was not that clean. I wore shoes as the floors seemed filthy. No cleaning service or fresh towels. We ended up checking out a day early because I just couldn’t sleep on the bed another night. The reservation and check in process were quick. We have stayed at other Wyndham properties and were very pleased. This property needs attention.

Believe the bad reviews and stay somewhere else. We travel a lot and it was honestly one of the worst hotels we have stayed in. I wouldn’t have minded if it was just a case of the furnishings being outdated, but it was dirty, so many things were broken, and there were safety hazards. Half the lights didn’t work, there were stains on the bedsheets, the water leaked out of the shower, the carpet was dirty, the heater had strong gas smells coming out of it when you first turn it on, the TV didn’t work. We stayed for three nights and they didn’t our room the whole time we were there. In the gym, half the weights were missing, the treadmill was broken and the they couldn’t even replace the exercise mat that had been used so much that it looked like tissue paper. The worst part was that like other reviewers, we also had issues with mice in our room and we opened our snacks, we discovered that the mouse had chewed through our bag of bread! The couple of bright spots were friendly front staff during the day, strong water pressure in the shower, and the breakfast was decent. With the rodent issues though, I’m not sure how the hotel is still operating and we will not be staying there again unless they do some serious renovation to fix these issues.

First I will say the staff is very kind but there were a few stains on some beds. One of the showers doors wouldnt close and the toilet had a few issues. My hotel door was a little funky and the stair elevator area can be a little dirty. Overall ok..

Extremely friendly staff, but the hotel is very run down, out dated and dirty. If you can help it, stay elsewhere. It’s not family friendly and overall if it wasn’t for the politeness of the staff we would have driven the 1 1/2 hours back home after leaving Busch Gardens

"Don't expect a 3 star experience"

Many subpar elements here. Couldn't hear the clerk at check in because of unattended children conducting office chair races in the lobby and breakfast room. Very noisy ice machine on 8th floor. Filthy windows, fogged glass units. Cheap pillows. Metal edge bed frames, good for banging your shin. Very harsh light in lobby, ugly modernish decor, disrespectful to the charming Williamsburg traditions. Very sloppy, do-it-yourself renovation quality. They're trying to renovate the property, but have no clue as to how to create warm, welcoming spaces.
