Take a tour of Niagara Falls and see the sites like never before. Journey towards the Falls on the famous Maid of the Mist Tour. Position yourself on the front of the boat if you would like to get wet. Feel all the elements on the hurricane deck at Cave of the Winds. Description

Your tour of Niagara Falls, USA begins with pick up directly from your hotel.

Your guide will then bring you to your first attraction, a boat ride on the famous Maid of the Mist. Before you board, you’ll have a chance to check out the view from the Prospect Point Observation Tower, located directly above the boarding site for the Maid of the Mist boat tour. While you’re on the boat tour, you’ll take in incredible views, hear the thunderous roars of the rushing waterfalls and you may get a bit wet, depending on where you stand - but don’t worry, you will be provided with a rain poncho for this boat ride.

The next stop on your tour is a visit to Goat Island which connects to Terrapin Point and Luna Island as well. While here you’ll learn about the history of the Falls, see the Nikola Tesla monument overlooking the Falls, and get very close to the Bridal Veil Falls which are situated between Goat Island and Luna Island.

After your Goat Island visit, your guide will take you to Cave of the Winds where you will descend 175 ft. into the Niagara Gorge before heading out onto a series of walkways leading to the “hurricane deck” - only a few feet away from the Bridal Veil Falls. You will be so close that it will feel like you’re surrounded by tropical storm-like conditions, even when it’s calm out.

Your final stop on the tour will be a visit to Whirlpool State Park. While you’re here you’ll have the opportunity to snap some impressive photos of Niagara’s Whirlpool Rapids.

At the end of your Niagara Falls tour, your guide will drop you off back at your hotel.

We’re driving in from out of town, where should we park?

We recommend parking at the Seneca Casino which has a free parking lot located between 4th and 6th St. You will find the entrance to the lot from Niagara St. This parking location is conveniently located within 5 minutes from our meeting point.

How wet do we get on the Maid of the Mist boat?

This generally depends on where you stand on the boat while you get close to the waterfalls. If you stand near the back of the boat, you won’t get very wet. If you stand near the front of the boat, you can expect to get fairly wet. You will be provided with a poncho while on board. Most travelers will still take their phones and cameras on board. Some travelers will choose to bring a change of shoes.

Is the boat ride seasonal?

Yes. The Maid of the Mist cruise is a seasonal attraction. When the boat cruise is not operating, it will be replaced by a visit to the Aquarium of Niagara.

Do you have car seats available?

See Sight Tours does not provide car seats for children. By law, children less than 8 years of age can sit on an adult's lap and be buckled in during the tour. Should you wish to bring a car seat with you we ask that you let us know in advance so we can be prepared. Please note, if you do choose to bring a car seat with you, it is your responsibility to install and uninstall the seat at each stop on the tour.

Does the tour operate in inclement weather?

Yes, the tour operates in all kinds of weather, so dress appropriately. The boat cruise may be affected.

Is there anything not included in the price of the tour?

We recommend bringing extra cash to purchase food at stops or bringing snacks with you. Souvenirs and other items you may purchase on your tour are also not included in the price of your tour. Gratuities are optional and always appreciated.

When will the guide pick me up for my tour?

See Sight Tours will email or call you 1-3 days prior to your tour to confirm a specific pick-up time. If you do not have access to phone or email, please be ready and waiting in the hotel lobby half an hour before your tour start time.
