Hotel was centrally located downtown which made it convenient. The hotel was in dire need of updates. Not all of the electrical outlets in the room worked. They still had the popcorn ceilings from the 1970's. There was only one person at the front desk for a long line of check-ins. He did very well but could have used some help. For Niagra Falls area, I expected something much nicer.

The hotel staff called us the morning we were leaving for the airport to tell us our reservation have been canceled due to plumbing issues. They did not show any concern for the inconvenience they caused. they didn’t assist in finding us another room in the same area or providing us contact information or even get us a room at one of the other comfort inns that were close by.

Not very welcoming to guests. 1st 24 hrs had no tv for at night after day activities. Finally tv day 2 but then no hot water day 2. Didn't have daily housekeeping had to ask for it after night 1 as I had a blood stain on my comforter. Needed wash cloths had to find someone to get some. Housekeeping staff was pretty friendly when we did see them and get what we needed. No ac in lobby or elevators. Got so hot in the elevators and they so slow made it worse. Last the breakfast was ok eggs were disgusting and had no fresh pastries only on 1st morning. Fruit went from 2 different kinds to only 1.

We've stayed in worse places than this so it got a 3 out of 5 rating. It appears there aren't too many superb places to stay in Niagra. The hotel was in a great location & you could hear the roar of the water going to the falls from the parking lot. They provided free parking & breakfast with your stay. Breakfast had the typical items which was fine especially for families getting an early start. The infrastructure of the building could use an update. The toilet in our room constantly ran, needed a new flapper. The walls were paper thin, heard many conversations next door. Housekeeping was by request. What? That's a new one. Since they didn't pick up room trash the hallways had filled trash bags sitting near the elevator trash cans. The hallway rugs were pretty stained too. This place just needs a little tlc.
