"OK stay, but things could have been a lot better."

Air conditioning in lobby wasn't working very well and the feel like temp outside was 111. Several ice machines weren't working. Be prepared to stand in a long line when checking in. Reviews for the breakfast were good online, but it was a mad house trying to get something to eat. There was not one piece of meat served for breakfast.

"Disappointed in amenities"

The hotel’s lobby is so nice and the outside is beautifully landscaped. However, even though the room was spacious and laid out very nicely, it smelled of mold and mildew and things felt damp. There is no operating restaurant so plan accordingly and the pool has no umbrellas so you will bake in the sun if you wanted to be poolside.

"Ok, but a lot of room for improvement"
TripAdvisor user rating 3.0 out of 5

The room was very clean and Housekeeping did an excellent job. We always had plenty of towels, wash cloths, and hand towels. The front desk staff was great. The guest laundry facilities were good and had plenty of working washers and dryers. The breakfast area was large and pretty well-kept, and the breakfast itself was acceptable but somewhat on the skimpy side. They didn't really have much for low-carb diets. They had chafing dishes out but didn't use them regularly. Some items didn't get refilled often. The wifi was absolutely awful in the room. The only place we could consistently get wifi, or cell service at all, was the lobby and breakfast area. The lobby's air conditioner was out for our the entire length of our stay. They had someone there to fix it as we were leaving on the last day. The A/C in our suite only reached the room closest to it. There is no Central A/C. We had to call Maintenance and they brought a fan to direct some of the air into the "living room" area where my daughter was sleeping on the pull-out couch. The pool and area around it were very nice and well-kept. I didn't get to check out the kids' water play area, but my daughter said it was fun. There were a lot of outdoor recreational activities, so we chose to play mini golf. Unfortunately, the course was not well-maintained at all. The brick edging around several of the holes was broken; the "tees" were not bolted down and were askew; and a few of the holes had water in them. The Huzzah! restaurant was closed with no explanation. It wasn't a deal-breaker, but we had to resort to UberEats and DoorDash for dinners because we didn't want to go out and search for a restaurant. Our stay was ok, but there is so much room for improvement at this hotel.

The hotel is completely run down…everything needs replaced…nothing has been touched in 27 years…. We saw small shrubs growing out of the water gutters. The breakfast was terrible and low quality with minimal options…. I will say the staff was fantastic and extremely nice!!
