Where to begin? I am a titanium elite for life member of Bonvoy and have been fortunate to stay at some of the best hotels and Bonvoy properties across the world. From the gorgeous suite to the fun rooftop pool to great breakfast every morning..everything was superb. The highlight was the staff. Nate the Welcome manager went above and beyond for our family and Josh in the restaurant was the most fun and capable server we have ever experienced. Our family loved him. Marina and the other gal in concierge was fantastic as well. If you want to be in the heart of Hollywood this is the spot. The proximity to Beverly Hills and West Hollywood was spot on. Thanks again to the W Hollywood for showing my family an amazing time.

Great long weekend at the W Hollywood. Good location - short drive to numerous tourist sites. Rooms looked like they were recently redone. Pool area was also an added bonus - just beware that on the weekends they sometimes have parties at the pool. Sunday morning at pool was nice and relaxing, but at 6 PM it kind of resembled a giant fraternity party. Two things that should be addressed from a value perspective: 1. $42 daily resort fee. You don’t get much for it and the hotel is not a resort. 2. $75/day for parking. TIP - park at the Sunset Media Center down the block. We used SpotHero to reserve a spot. Over the weekend parking cost us about $40 total versus $75/night. Overall, very happy with the experience.

After a disasterous experience at my previous hotel, I checked out early and used the Bonvoy app to book a room at the W Hollywood using my Bonvoy points. I am so glad I did. From the moment I checked in to the moment I left the staff made me feel so welcome and safe. Nothing is too much trouble for any of the staff. They seem genuinely happy to make your stay as wonderful as it can be. The rooftop pool is glorious with full sun until early evening in the Summertime. I had no problem finding a seat and the poolside service was that perfect mix of attentive yet relaxed at the same time. After checking out some nearby attractions I opted to stay in and enjoy a drink and dinner at the lobby bar. The bar faces towards the Capitol Records building and sunset made for a striking backdrop as I had a drink and smash burger. Everything was spot on! The next morning I grabbed a free coffee in the lobby before setting off to explore Los Angeles. Even the checkout was filled with surprise and delight with a free candy bar. The room is beautifully designed with a wrap around bench seat so you're not always just laying on your bed. This is one of those hotels where you can check in and not leave and have a great time. It's in a cool part of town, and although I wouldn't walk around on my own much past 10pm I felt completely safe all day and into the early evening when I dropped into a couple of local bars. Definitely reccommend.

We had a fantastic time again. Micaela always does her best with upgrading our room when possible. She even sends us little notes, too. Luis, the ambassador, is always kind and helpful with our luggage. Eric at the valet is always warm and friendly.

Micaela was an absolutely exceptional at service, handled with care was able to get us 3 room categories above from what we booked free at that! We only came back to this hotel specifically for her. On a side note, I also noticed that the other 2 ladies checking people in, were still on the same couples when Micaela went through 5 different groups. Somehow, she is able to be very efficient and friendly at the same time. God bless her. They also have a great bar.
