It's a wonderful stay. Everything is close to walk to. We had an interior room. While nothing special, it was a very nice room. Clean and comfortable beds. Easy shuttle service to City Walk. Bowling allies for some additional fun. Lots of food options in their main dining hall though wasn't the best quality at times. Staff were friendly and helpful. Will be 100% staying again. Keep in mind that the free refill cups only work at the resorts and not the parks. What you get for the price is easily worth every penny if not more.

The rooms were smaller than you expected, not worth the price. The bathrooms were quite small and outdated, with tiles on floors and walls needing replacement. Additionally, the property was easily accessible to anyone on site. I was not comfortable in my suite at all. The toilet seats had things on them that could not be removed and the tub had old stains. The noise levels in the suite were also quite disruptive, with sounds from neighboring rooms and the hallway easily heard. This made it difficult to relax or get a good night's sleep. The thin walls and lack of soundproofing contributed significantly to the overall discomfort during the stay. To enhance the room conditions, I recommend updating the bathroom fixtures and replacing the tiles to create a more modern and clean appearance. Implementing better soundproofing measures, such as installing thicker walls or soundproof panels, would greatly reduce noise disturbances. Additionally, ensuring that all surfaces, including toilet seats and tubs, are thoroughly cleaned and maintained would improve guest comfort significantly.

2200 rooms and very spread out. It has everything you need to have a good time. Price was reasonable. Plan on walking if your room is at the end of the property. Plenty of pools, sand, food and beverages. It has shuttle to and from the parks, which is very nice. Park and not having to drive around has its perks. We will stay here again.

Had an amazing 29th birthday here! My partner and I are FL Resident AP holders, and I decided to book 2 nights at Cabana Bay about a month out in advance. This is my 2nd time staying here, and this time was in the Bayliner Tower, which I was excited about. The walk can be lengthy to get to the lobby and Garden Walk to the parks, but that is okay! If you are doing Volcano Bay, 10000% recommend staying in one of the towers, as you have your own private entrance to the park. Madison at check-in provided world-class service. She even gave me a free birthday ice cream voucher and was all around a delight. The room was spacious, and had a view of Velocicoaster. The theming at this resort is top-notch (very charming) and it carries over well into the room. Beds were comfy. Lots of TV channels, as well. We didn’t make use of the lazy river and/or pool(s), but Universal did a great job with the design and amenities. The Bayliner Diner is decent for a meal or a quick bite. The quality of the food is not stellar by any means, but it gets the job done (for a price). Really love walking to the parks or hopping on the water taxi at Sapphire Falls. The only (minimal) critiques I have are that some wear-and-tear is showing in spots - a lot of signage could be cleaned and updated around the resort, and there is still some trash on the pathways leftover that I noticed from the previous day. Overall - great! Would stay here again.

This is a hotel that is low end charging mid prices. Hotel is in need of a lot of maintenance. Toilet hard to flush. Safe did not work. Closet door off the tracks and on. Housekeeping is hard to come by and staff does not care. Walls paper thin. Would not recommend.
