From accommodations to amenities to services, Summer Bay Resort has it all! The resort features a 64-acre lake with watersports, fishing, boating, and sandcastle fun. A children's waterpark, 18-hole adventure golf, bocci ball, basketball court, tennis courts, shuffleboard, and horseshoes are also on site. Planned activities for children, teens, and adults are available 7 days a week. Take advantage of the game room, fitness room, tiki bar, business center, and on-site ticket sales.

Each condo unit in Summer Bay Orlando comes with a full kitchen with a dining area, microwave, refrigerator, stove top, sink, dishwasher and more. A washer/dryer combo is also available as well as a living area.

Please note that Summer Bay Orlando by Exploria Resorts is a cashless environment. Credit card holders will be provided an Amenities Charge Card at check-in for use around the resort at food & beverage outlets and other for other on-site experiences.

The resort requires a major credit card to check in. Guest are provided the option to make a cash deposit on the account at the time of check-in and throughout the stay to further establish a guest charge account.

Fees: A Resort Fee of $30 plus tax per night, per room is due upon check in. Additionally, the resort requires a credit card at check-in for a $250 refundable deposit.

We were an RCI exchange March 22-25, 2025. We had traded into a 3 Bedroom. Three eeeks before, I called the resort to request the 500 building. We stayed in the 500 building last year & loved it across from the bar and grill. Room was ready at 3:30 pm. we were placed in Building 205 Second Floor. I complained. Upon getting to 205 building we discovered there was no ELEVATOR. I complained and my husband is handicapped.. They put us in 405 first floor. The unit was clean. On Tuesday, it was our RCI mid week cleaning. They emptied trash and exchanged bed linings, but didn’t leave more laundry detergent, dishwasher cubes, or shampoo/conditioner. The Cleaning lady told us to call or go get some at the office. We were missing 1 dish pan, 1 coffee pot was not working & a kitchen drawer front came off when we tried to pull it open. It had been glued. Only building 205 has no elevator. Why was an RCI exchange timeshare owner placed there? Especially after I requested the 500 building. The pizza we ordered was good. The food & drinks at The Big Kahuna Bar was good. My granddaughter enjoyed the Putt Putt. The Buckeneer Bay Was Ice Cold water. I asked for an 11 am check out because I had to leave at 9 am to drive 1 hour to SFB to take my son & granddaughter to the Allegiant airport. They Let us. and were nice about it. I do recommend Summer Bay Resort. The 6 pools are heated and 1 is open until midnight. We bring our bikes to ride around the resort & outside of it. It is within 30 minutes from Disney. They asked us to go to a timeshare meeting for 90 minutes for $150. We didn’t go. I talked to 10 people at pools & only 1 were timeshare owners. The Rest don’t own a timeshare. They just get to rent a week while owners pay the taxes. Timeshares are on the way out! Not worth buying when you can just go there and rent and not pay maintenance/tax fees.

The resort is beautiful and a wonderful place to come for a vacation. The staff lacked friendliness and welcoming as someone coming to visit and possibly to buy a timeshare. There also seemed to be a lack of communication among the staff as well.

Plenty of pools for the family. Workout facility if you desire to keep your exercise program going. Daily activities for a pool break. Game rooms, zip line, mini golf, karaoke, etc. Lots of things to keep you busy or just chill with one of their great cocktails. FUN

Our family truly enjoyed our first time stay. Our unit was clean when we arrived with a really nice view of the lake. The evening sunsets were gorgeous from our patio. Check-in was easy, resort staff friendly. I was impressed that on day 3 they came to refresh unit with towels, linens and a light cleaning! My only and only complaint was the queen size bed in master bedroom. I have never stayed in a resort with a queen in the master BR. I'm used to sleeping in a long and this was quite the adjustment and I had a hard time sleeping. Otherwise, superb vacation!

We had a group of 80 that was able to join us for spring break this year consisting of friends and family from 1 year old to 85 year old! Our group made great use of all onsite amenities (pool bars, bar food, Italian Pizza, Hello Coffee, activities center, 601 bar, etc) and enjoyed all. The only comment to make others aware of is there is an 18% gratuity already included with food and beverage purchases. I personally don't have an issue with it as it is keeping the staff consistent year after year (thanks Ray, Will and Brad!!) And the resort is doing a great job in trying to stop folks from throwing towels and such on chairs and tables. If you are not around the pool deck, they bag your stuff and take to 601 building. This is awesome!!
