"Run away from this location in Richmond, VA"

This must be a franchise Marriott location as I could not believe a corporate Marriott property would be this "worn out", dirty, and tired looking. Upon check-in, the employee behind the front desk never looked at us, spoke in short requests, and didn't acknowledge our existence. While waiting for the elevator, we noticed how the picture on the wall was torn up and scarred. The elevator shook and rattled as it took up to the assigned floor. In fact, a contractor on property, said it didn't always work. Great. The bath room floor, in our room, had not been swept from the previous occupant. It was sticky so I can only believe it had not been mopped. The bathtub also had lots of hair in it. The carpet was stained in the sleeping area. The TV screen leaned to the right at a noticeable angle. I assume that it was broken. Good things: air conditioner worked well; beds were comfortable. I would not recommend anyone spending their traveling money on this location and I would think corporate Marriott would want to know what bad condition it is in.

"Stopover on the way to Lititz Pa"

As a platinum elite member of Marriott properties, this is absolutely the worst experience I have ever had. I made this reservation a couple of weeks ago when we realized that we were going to Pennsylvania with my wife’s family. We checked in on Thursday 1 May, The two young ladies at the counter were very personable, nice and very helpful. We checked into our room, which was room number 110, there was still trash in the trashcan from the previous people, our room smelled like musty, wet, dogs, and there’s mold and mildew around the bathtub and shower stall. I can honestly say that I would never stay at that property again, also if I was new to Marriott properties, I would probably look for another chain to get rewards with. That being said I’m still a fan of Marriott properties.

Absolute dump Everything dirty If you plan to use the " kitchenette" you better bring plates cutlery cups glasses....there are none Beds awful One tiny television (in a suite?) Mold in the bathtub Creeped out The carpet is a Petrie dish This place needs to be gutted and totally redone

Wow. What a dump. From the front lobby (breakfast) to the gross hotel rooms. I surely hope a complete rework is in short order. Start with the room. Stained carpet. Lampshade has a large stain on it. Shower had hair stuck on the wall from a previous guest (I assume). There are minimal outlets and ZERO usb outlets. It is 2025…come on folks. The breakfast lounge was out of plates, napkins and the juice machine was broken. Don’t get me wrong, this isn’t a major deal. But combined with the gross rooms, shows a total lack of caring from the hotel itself. There are tons of other options within a mile. Take advantage of the other options!!

"Empathetic Front Desk Clerk"

The hotel is clean, the location is good, and the breakfast was yummy. However, what stood out was the lady at the front desk (I did not catch her name; she had dark hair) when I checked out. I had a cold and was feeling miserable. She was so sweet, helpful, and caring. Thank you for your excellent customer service, front desk lady!
