Spectrum Resort Orlando

I would like to start off by saying that I am a travel agent and have traveled all over the world and the U.S. My family of 5 was looking for a vacation away from the crowds this Spring Break and we absolutely loved Spectrum! They were extremely professional from the moment I booked. Emailed and called to confirm our arrival time to make sure it was quick and smooth! Provided me with all of the information I wanted to know about the resort amenities prior to arrival. Upon arrival we noticed quickly that we had entered an upscale destination; a hidden GEM! The entire Reunion resort is well kept, peaceful and gorgeous!!! The service everywhere on the property is top notch! Our 3 bedroom condo was wonderful! The condo was beautifully decorated and spotless! We have a beautiful home that I am thankful for, but I could truly live there and so could my children ages, 4,8 and 13! Because of the super high ceilings and gorgeous decor, my 8yo said “Mom, I feel like we are staying in a mansion!!” I would not be detoured by the parking! For goodness sake if you stay at a disney property you will be walking long distances to your hotel room! If you stay at a standard mega resort like Marriott, same situation. What is nice is that you can drive to your condo to unload! I saw others whos cars seemed to never move, but that’s not by business. The parked cars did make the road tight so I understand the reasoning to utilize the parking lot. If parking at any resort is an issue for you, they do havee units with a driveway and personal garage! Our family rented a golf cart and it was so much FUN!!!! *** We read parking reviews prior to booking that made it seem like such a drag!!! Thank God we proceeded as we werent put out by it at all! We loved Spectrums pool onsite, it was extremely clean, modern and beautiful! We especially loved utilizing their free cabanas that were equipped with refrigerators and charging outlets! There are also many pools you can utilize throughout Reunion resort however, ours is the best and guests not staying at Spectrum do not have access even though we had access to all! The kids also fully enjoyed our free access to 3 waterparks! One is literally next door!! They offer food and drinks! Have a lazy river, slide, small pool area and kids water playscape with slides! There is another waterpark at Encore resort. This was our kids favorite! Kids water playground with slides, large slides on site and a large pool! We loved how we were traveling during high travel season but no where was over crowded!! The Encore also had a delicious restaurant as well as concessions. The 3rd was a larger waterpark called H2O. Its next to the Margaritaville resort! Super nice! I loved how clean, beautiful and fun it was! You can check out their website as there is so much they offer! What an amazing perk and savings to have these waterparks included! Please note if you go to H2O- bring your own towels! The other waterparks provide towels! I have to give a shoutout to Traditions restaurant!!! Wow so delicious, amazing service and beautiful view of the golf course! For my coffee besties- YES there is a starbucks on property at the large hotel within the resort community! There are also shuttle vans that can take you around the resort and you can call them via their app and or phone number. Our family loved taking the golf cart and looking at all of the gorgeous mansions in the resort!!!! They are all so different and beautifully designed! We didn’t pre plan this- but it was really fun and a cool experience plus its so enjoyable riding around the community! We did use the gym each morning! Its super clean and equipped perfectly and like new! We thoroughly enjoyed this stay! We truly will be back when we go back to Orlando! The price cannot be beat!!! P.S. the golf courses are amazing per my husband who is a golfer! ;)

I will start with all the Pro’s and only one major con. We stayed at this lovely condo with so much space. The place was pretty much clean. One piece of trash was found hidden and a towel from the water park nearby. The property is within another property. So you go through one guard shack but they give you a pass for the whole time your there and then a second pass for the Spectrum. Both have to be on your windshield. Brian called us before we arrived and was very helpful at the front desk The condo had everything to cook and eat. And soaps and bath products. Washer/dryer was new. Every room had a giant TV connected to wifi. One of the comforters we had was dirty with yellow stains on it. Not from urine but more like someone dropped a yellow marker on it. Everyone around the property was super helpful. The con… and it might be a major one for some single parents or those with mobility issues.. THE PARKING. You can not park at your condo. There are signs everywhere that say 10 minute max or you will be towed. I did see a car in the main lot being towed for what reason im not sure. You can unload near your condo but the. You have to move your car to the main parking lot.. supposedly. The 10 minute spot in front of our condo was taken up by these people lifts which exactly at 8:00am every morning woke us up to do construction, but no big deal. From out condo to the parking lot was a .24 mile walk each way so 5/6 minutes at a normal pace. The water park is more. Because to get to the water park its not really on the property its behind it. The pool is on the property but the water park i.ln theory can only be accessed from the main parking lot side. Although a short cut is through building 35 next to the car fire entrance if you are near those buildings. Why did I have a problem with parking. Because people were parked for days in the 10 minute parking. No placards on the windows or paper from the property, All sorts of plates from other states and Canada and I couldnt figure out how they just got to park there for days on end. Someone even parked next to our building in the grass next to the fire exit and our window and nothing happened. We were to scared to get towed. No exaggeration on the cars not moving we played a game with the family everyday to see which car moved and which didn’t. If you stay in the property and want to be near the water park. 34-26 and 14-23 buildings. The property needs to work on one thing. Parking. And if 10 minite parking isnt enforced it should be first come first serve.

We stayed at the Spectrum Resort— found it on the Choice Hotel site. They are 3,4,5 bedroom condo units that seem to be timeshares or owner purchased and rented when not in use. We usually rent an Air BnB but found this to be cheaper and much better. The staff was great! Went above and beyond in service. Condo was clean— not perfect but very acceptable. Comfortable private bedrooms with lots of pillows, nice beds. Full kitchens, big living room. Good for families or larger groups. Great location. Very close to Disney and very secure— the whole area is gated. I wish we had time to enjoy all the resort offers—a water park, golf, restaurants, walking trails. I will stay here again.

It was a nice holiday vacation for my family. Regardless the reviews i saw i was lucky enough to be close to the front so parking was not an issue. Unit was clean and very spacious. The kids enjoyed the water park and the pool on property .Also the check in was very smooth, a lot of people due to holidays. Only waited 15minutes because they were finalizing our unit. Will come back in the near future. Kuddos to Spectrum team.

Brenda was amazing and very friendly. The place is very nice, the only inconvenience is the parking. You have to walk a lot from parking to the apartment . The location is very nice and secure. We had a great time the rooms are nice and clean . 💙💙💙
