Location was great and some shops and restaurants in walking distance. Staff not too friendly but some of the security are. Small things seem far too much effort for the staff to oblige to help. The maid bangs the door down every morning but I don’t know why she only changes towels and collects rubbish. We got told the room got cleaned every 4 days and all this means is making the bed (no clean bedding on a 10 nights stay) The bathroom door was full of other peoples hair and god knows what which brushing in and out when opening the doors. The patio doesn’t open so no option of letting fresh air in. The rooms are yellow like someone has been smoking in in them for the last 20 years and they are very dated.

Rooms ok, not made for a family of five though extra charge for a roll out bed $20.50 per night otherwise you just have to squeeze into small doubles. Dated decor and pool is very small and some was snoking on the balcony and threw there dimp over which went in the pool. Friendly ish staff. For the price suppose you get what you pay for, not sure we will be coming back

Rosen Hotel – 6327 International Drive, Orlando We arrived around 10:00 PM. Check-in was initially pleasant thanks to one front desk associate. Unfortunately, the experience quickly went downhill after that. The room was nothing like the photos online—very outdated, with an overwhelming odor coming from the carpet. After unpacking around 10:30 PM, we noticed the refrigerator was not cooling at all. We adjusted settings and left briefly to grab food before nearby restaurants closed. When we returned around midnight, the refrigerator still wasn’t working. We contacted the front desk to request maintenance. Instead of maintenance, security arrived at our door, knocking aggressively, immediately confrontational and rude, without greeting or explanation. The tone felt unnecessary and hostile, especially given the situation was a simple maintenance issue. Shortly after, the front desk called the room in an elevated, aggressive tone, insisting that I personally come downstairs, even though my wife had gone first specifically to avoid further confrontation, as the staff had already been rude and dismissive. When I went downstairs, the front desk agent was openly hostile, speaking in a raised voice, giving intense, angry looks, and treating the situation as if we had done something wrong. There was no apology, no attempt to de-escalate, and no customer service professionalism whatsoever. When we asked for a manager, we were told she was the manager. Requests to simply replace the refrigerator were refused. An upgrade for the inconvenience was denied. The entire interaction felt intimidating, accusatory, and unnecessarily aggressive. To make matters worse, the refrigerator in the second room did not work either. Between misleading photos, outdated and smelly rooms, broken amenities, and staff behavior that felt hostile and confrontational rather than service-oriented, this hotel was extremely disappointing. We are now seeking a refund and leaving. This felt like a tourist trap that prioritizes control over customer care. I strongly recommend choosing a hotel that values professionalism, respect, and guest safety.

We stayed at Rosen Inn Closest to Universal Orlando for 8 nights in October with a group of 6 adults and 2 children, booking two rooms. We’ve visited Orlando a few times and usually stay at Rosen Inn at Pointe Orlando, so this was our first time at this particular Rosen Inn. The hotel is very much a typical Rosen property — a little dated in places, but clean and comfortable. Our rooms were tidy and perfectly fine for our stay. Staff were generally friendly and helpful, and the location is really convenient, especially for Universal. The pool area was clean and well maintained, although personally we prefer Rosen Inn at Pointe Orlando as the pool areas there are slightly larger and there’s a children’s play area. That said, there’s not a huge difference overall. We didn’t use the hotel for breakfast or meals, so can’t comment on the food. The free shuttle bus to Universal was easy to book and worked well, which was a big plus. The only downside for us was that room cleaning was a bit hit and miss during our stay.
