Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park is less than 10 minutes away. Enjoy live entertainment, plethora of dining options and shops at Disney Springs approximately seven miles from the hotel. International Drive Orlando is less than 10 miles from the hotel, and Universal Studios Florida is approximately 25 25-minute drive.

The hotel accepts and stores packages for guests prior to arrival and during their stay for a fee of $5.00 per package which will be applied to your bill. Packages will be held for a maximum of 30 days from the day they are delivered. Please do not plan to have your packages delivered more than 21 days in advance of your arrival at the hotel. To simplify the delivery of packages, the name of the addressee MUST match the name on the reservation. Packages without guest names will be returned after 14 days. Packages will only be given to the person whose name is written on the mailing label and we may require a photo ID to verify your identity. We are not responsible for lost/undelivered packages or packages that were damaged in transit.

Due to limited storage space and safety regulations, the Ramada Gateway Hotel cannot accept packages that:
  • Are larger than 48 inches on any one side.
  • Weigh more than 100 pounds.
  • Contain hazardous, flammable, or biological materials.


Packages that exceed the limitations listed in the section above will be refused at delivery or returned to sender. The hotel is not responsible for those items or for any associated shipping/restocking costs.

Pet Policy:There's a $50 non-refundable pet deposit to be paid upon check-in, a two pet maximum and each pet cannot weigh more than 30 pounds, and pet-friendly rooms are only the 2 Queen Standard w/Exterior Corridors. The Tower Rooms are not pet-friendly.

Fees:
  • $18.00 nightly resort fee, plus applicable taxes will be collected upon arrival.
  • Full American Buffet Breakfast is $15.95 per person, per day; children 12 and under $5.95 per person. Children under the age of 5 eat free, one adult, one child free. Tax and gratuity not included.
  • Shuttles to the theme parks are running again, including the Lake Buena Vista Outlets. Please note hours may change. Shuttle runs at certain times, please check with the front desk for times.

    I went to orlando disney with my kids, the service was excellent, all clean and tidy at all times. easy show for emergencies and the location was 10 min from the parks! I truly love it and im picky with hotels. I stay in the tower and it was perfect. The day off we spent it in the pool, playing chess and pool with the kids. Drinks for adults were easy to access too. it is not the must modern hotel but it has everything to spent a lovely holiday and have affordable fun!

    TLDR: This was a very economical choice and a clean environment, even if it needs a bit of a refresh. We stayed poolside. When we walked into the room each afternoon, returning from Disney, we were welcomed by the smell of bleach. Now to some, that might not be a pleasant smell, but to me? Its a sign the place has been wiped down with a strong cleaning agent and that the sheets are gonna be clean! The room is small, not a lot of counter space or hanging space for clothes and was tight for a family of 4, but we weren't there for to spend all day in the room, so it was fine. The breakfast was decent, a typical hotel buffet that they serve from 7 to 11a. The service staff is wonderful and very attentive. The Grill isn't open for dinner, but the diner stays open later. I can't comment on the food there because we just did uber eats most nights. The kids used the pool each evening, which is open until 10p and they seemed to do a great job of closing it down right around that time so everyone could sleep. The shuttle service. This is the only thing I'd have you carefully consider when enticed by the free shuttle service. The shuttles come once a day in the a.m. typically around 7a, well before the parks open and requiring you to miss breakfast onsite which, again, opens at 7a. This is not a continuous loop of shuttle service. Similarly, it returns at roughly 845 or 1045p...the times could change so dont take this as gospel. The shuttle makes several stops at various hotels, so after a long day its not great, but...it is free. You need to reserve the night before, so it isn't like you can pre plan, and the space on the shuttles is limited. I highly recommend this hotel if you need an economical option for a Disney adventure!

    All in all wasn't a bad stay. Beds were a little too hard. When checking in, was told they'd lower the pet fee to a total of $100 but they charged $163. When they cleaned our room, they didn't replace any of the 4 washcloths. Went to front desk to get some and they gave us hand towels instead. Other than that, kids loved the pools and things to do there. Walmart next door was very convenient.

    The hotel was nice and employees also nice the restaurant in the lobby never opened at 7am but other then having little problems with 2 of our room keys everything else was good. The location could have been closer to the theme parks overall great vacation
