"Views are spectacular"

While the checkin was a little rough and not so great, everything else was spot on. The girl who checked me in needs a little more training especially how to put rooms close together and not tell guests “I’m not sure when the room will be clean, no expected time at all.” When checkin is at 4pm and you have guests waiting at 4:05. The food was great, from the breakfast buffet to the coffee cart to the bar. It was easy and service was always great. The Rooms are really outdated and older but very clean so it made up for the wear and tear. The views are really what you come to this hotel for, it is spectacular!!!! Ronnie was the rockstar of the front desk, he was always helpful and making sure the bill was correct and going above and beyond for every single guest I saw him in contact with. He really does make the team so much better. Great hotel overall!

I went to the hotel to celebrate New Years Eve with friends. The band that was there, Josi J and Dessert, did an amazing performance and put on a great show. The food, the service and the entire event was a great experience.

The views alone should make this a five star review though I’ll dock a point for the dated bedroom decor. Well positioned, out of the noise of Gatlinburg’s main drag, the free town trolley bus service is an excellent service to get you into and back from town - especially important when navigating the steep, spiral drive up to the hotel and the real consideration of bears of an evening! The lobby area is pleasant and impressive with its full height atrium and exposed lifts. The swimming pool area was a welcome addition, especially for children with its flume slide. Rooms are a bit dark and dated but with the mountain view we had - you barely notice!

Stayed here during summer trip with GF. First time in this area and location was great. Awesome views from hotel to surrounding mountains.Rooms were big abit dated but still good.Staff friendly and helpful. Pool area was interesting being indoors also abit small and with a lot of guests space was taken up . I’m sure it’s great for kids though. Trolly stop out front very useful to get into town. Overall good experience and would go back.
