"A great place to stay by Bryant Park"

This was my first time staying here and I loved it. I was in a "studio with a view", and although I was on the corner furthest from Bryant Park, being on the 14th floor, it meant I did have a nice view of 5th Avenue. The room was lovely - kept very clean and the bed was one of the most comfy I've had. Heating was very efficient, considering it was so cold outside - but it was also nice to be able to open the windows to get a breath of fresh air occasionally. I could never get the streaming from my iPhone to the TV to work (even though I followed the instructions and my phone said it was connected), so not sure if there was a fault with the TV - but I didn't bother following up on it, as I made do with the local channels - especially as I was at the hotel during the period of the blizzard, so I spent most of the time keeping up to date with the weather! The front desk were so helpful in extending my stay in the same room (at the same rate as I had originally booked) when I was stranded due to cancelled flights - and that helped remove a lot of my stress over being stuck in NYC due to the snow. I loved Branch - I had a few afternoon coffees and a couple of lunches there (especially due to nothing being open outside due to the blizzard). Food, drinks and service were all excellent. Am not going to lie, the lobby (or what there is of it!) is somewhat underwhelming and not the best immediate impression for the hotel - but the rooms and service make up for it. Also, although there was a doorman on duty, when I arrived, I was struggling to get in through the heavy front doors with my suitcase and it was only when I almost tripped over myself trying to get in the building that someone came to assist me. Again - not the best first impression - but the rest of the stay made up for that. My only criticism? The slamming room doors!!! I know this is down to rude guests letting their doors slam - but the slamming was absolutely deafening (I've never heard doors slam so loudly!) and I'm wondering whether the hotel could invest in some sort of "progressive" hinges for the room doors (or whatever) that just ensures the room doors close a little more slowly? That would make the building just perfect. All in all - a great first impression (which is rare for me for NYC hotels - I've stayed at many and am usually disappointed!) and I will definitely be back!

Excellent experience at Park Terrace Hotel at Bryant Park. From the minute we stepped into the lobby we were taken care of. Our room was ready 2 hours early and it was my wife’s birthday so they had a banner in our room with a lovely card & mini pistachio raspberry cake waiting for us. Bed amazing comfort, bathroom updated and clean. Loved the weights and yoga mat for a quick am workout. Right across the street from Bryant Park and a 20 minute walk to Broadway! Will definitely be back. Request a room overlooking the park, no guarantees but doesn’t hurt to ask.

"My favourite hotel in NYC"

The Park Terrace Hotel on Bryant Park is my favourite place to stay in NYC. My third visit to this lovely hotel was just as good as my previous two stays. It's fabulously located, has beautifully designed, cosy, well-appointed rooms. The beds are super comfortable the bedlinen and toiletries are lovely. Filtered water stations are available on each floor, and Nespresso machines and yoga mats are provided in the rooms; all really thoughtful touches. The Park Terrace Team are so friendly, efficient, and helpful - nothing is too much trouble. Particular thanks go to Jesse and Arlette, who are a real credit to the hotel; they made my stay so special and were so kind and helpful when my friend had to change her plans at short notice due to the snowstorm. Branch, the lounge bar, is a lovely place for food or drinks with friends or solo, and there are lots of great places to eat or drink nearby such as La Pecora Bianca next door. I highly recommend this fabulous hotel.
