"Awful experience "

Room reservation for 2 beds, got 1. Front desk person went to other rooms, couldn't find room with 2 beds Missing light bulbs, most of room was dark Most outlets not working so could not charge phones or use cpap machine Warm water, not hot TV has one channel TV so low can't be viewed from bed No toilet paper holder All reported to front desk, nothing done. Not even supplying light bulbs.

"Problem is not the people who work there....."

Let me first say that the problem with this hotel is not the management or the staff- it is the ownership. Nikita and Mimi, as well as the General Manager Mizra were wonderful and the only reason I didn't leave upon arrival and also cancel my upcoming stay. This hotel has been my go-to for years for convenience as it is close to our dog show circuits. It has also been undergoing under renovation for YEARS, although it looks like they are now getting serious about it. The problem is that the rooms are not ready to be used as intended. Paint fumes, make shift furniture, no hair dryers, pool filled with debris from renovation. I was lucky enough to see one of the renovated rooms and will remit another review when completed as I do believe it will really give the place a much needed facelift. My problem is in the meantime there are simple upgrades that would make stays so much nicer. First -post on your website that renovations are being made and certain advertised amenities like the pool are temporarily unavailable. Fix standard operating equipment that breaks down immediately- there was no working ice machine during my visit. The one on the first floor has been down for over a year. There should be 2 waffle makers in the breakfast area- the one broke over a year ago and not replaced. Switch out the breakfast offerings so that not just same old thing. Replace the towels with ones that are better grade- the ones in the rooms are pretty worn out. I feel badly for the staff as they have to listen to the complaints but don't have the ability to really make the corrections. Customer service is a hard enough job without having to deal with legitimately dissatisfied guests.

"Don’t stay here"

Worst placed we’ve ever stayed! We reserved king suite and were put in a double room with no credit. No amenities whatsoever as they’re under construction, again, no credit given. The halls and elevator are filthy, there’s piles of old carpet and construction debris outside the building.

"Pros and Cons and Lego Soap"

Pros: Night Desk Clerk was professional, and friendly. Con: The management should upgrade the mattresses while they are doing the renovations. Uncomfortablely firm and needs a more padded top. Pro: The independent HVAC unit kept the room very comfortable. Con: The management needs to upgrade the Lego sized soap. Standard hotel soap would work for showers and hand washing. Pro: The included breakfast was filling and well presented.

Paper thin pillows. Broken floor tiles in the bathroom. Hair dryer shoot flames out of it. The first floor is a kennel. Literally FULL of dogs. Breakfast was horrible. The staff was friendly when we could find them. None of the perks shown at booking were available... pool, fitness center, etc.
