"Will not be back"

The front desk staff was not friendly at all , room was not the cleanest and there was loud banging right up until 1:30 in the morning . Went to check out and mention the loud noise and no one at the front desk at 6:30 am , waited a few minutes and no one showed

The whole experience was horrible! We had 3 rooms and this review is just about the one large suite we stayed in, while all 3 rooms and guest experiences were the worst we have ever had. Both other rooms were also disgusting and didn't receive any "fixes" they asked for. We requested these items in our room be taken care of the first evening we arrived and despite being told twice that housekeeping would come take care of it, they did not take care of any of it during our 2 night stay. This is how we found the room upon arrival. -Toilet bowl had poop splatters from last guest -King mattress had huge visible stain through sheets -Queen bed had large hole in sheets -Large stain on comforter -Dirty, 1/2 full water cup -Empty Pepsi can behind table -Carpet filthy with dirt and fuzz needing vacuumed -Carpet heavily stained and disgusting -Hallway had multiple areas that looked liked dried vomit -Dead bug in bathroom & another on main room ceiling -Entry light out, very dark -Large cobwebs on king suite room light -2 large areas of unfinished drywall in bathroom -Towels were paper thin. We asked for more upon arrival, we were told they would bring them right up, didn't receive them until the next day -90% of staff interactions were rude -Check in at 3:00, one room wasn't ready until well after 4:00 -The overall smell of the entire building was bad, a moldy smell covered by chemicals -We have never stayed in such a bad hotel and could not move due to the number of rooms we had.

Black mold on the ceiling in the hall way! Very dirty room including roaches crawling across the bathroom floor. To cheap to buy a bed frame so just used an extra box spring. No vending machines, ice machine broke. Just gross all the way around !!!

"It's a motel for dogs"

I booked a Deluxe Family Suite, but when I arrived, the hotel staff flat-out lied, saying they were overbooked and didn’t have my room. I had to go through Capital One Travel, my booking agent, to find another place to stay. Honestly, this hotel was a disaster from the start. It felt like a run-down motel with more dogs than people wandering around, nothing close to what I expected. I specifically chose this spot for its location near Kings Dominion, but that wasn’t worth the terrible experience. The front desk was painfully slow, rude, and deceitful. This place doesn’t respect its guests, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

"Won’t go back again"

There were 2 good things. Bed was comfortable and Friday evening front desk woman was very nice. The 1st room had bodily fluids on the wall next to the bed. I was given another room and just walking into the room it had a very musty/moldly smell. The front desk women had me stay in the lobby while she checked a couple more rooms and had me pick one. She was a real problem solver. So then room was ok but no remote control for the TV. They did come up and brought a remote that worked. When I was throwing trash in bathroom I saw a plastic dental flosser on the floor behind the trash can. Don’t know how the housekeeper missed that. We went out shopping Saturday and when we came back our card keys didn’t work so we had to go down and get new ones. The front desk said it was it was incorrectly entered. The pool needs a lot of work. It was clean. You had to pull hard on the pool door to get it open. There was a large area on the pool ceiling that had peeling. There was not the right number of towels in the room for the 4 of us and no linens for the sofa bed. That same front desk woman from Friday took care of that. I wish I knew her name. We needed dry towels after the pool and at 1st the male clerk did not want to give them to me. I also had to get another roll of toilet paper. I was also debited for another night. Again was told it was entered incorrectly for the number of days. I spoke to the Manager the following day and he said charge would be credited. He apologized for all the issues and said there was going to be a major renovation soon. Still won’t go back
