This tour delves into one of the most intriguing mysteries of our time: the world-changing assassination of President Kennedy. We explore the facts and examine the incredible coincidences and timing that culminated in the event that shocked the world. In this tour, we will walk around 1.5 miles around the West End Historic District, and for the second part of the walk, we will take the public streetcar to visit the Oswald Rooming House in the Oak Cliff neighborhood.

Where do we meet?
On the main street side of the JFK Memorial at 646 West Main Street.
Where can I park?
There is no free parking around downtown Dallas. We do not recommend parking on the street, our excursions usually run longer than the two hour and all on-street parking zones have a 2-hour maximum. Below are a few options close to the meeting location:

How do I get back to the location where we started the tour?
Head southeast on Harwood St. until you reach Main St. Right on Main St. until you reach the JFK Memorial. Approximately 20 minutes total walk back. Your tour guide will assist you with directions.
How far do we walk during the tour?
We walk around 2 miles and we take several breaks along the way. Texan summers are hot, dress appropriately and always wear comfortable shoes.
What should I bring with me?
Hat, sunscreen, sunglasses, bottle water or drink of your choice and comfortable shoes.
Are we allowed to bring our dog?
We welcome dogs in all our walking tours, there a couple of place we stop at that you won’t be able to bring the dog inside the property (Oswald Rooming House, The joule Hotel). Due to space availability, we do not allow dogs in our buses.
Am I allowed to carry my infant on my lap during the tour?
No, children under 8 are not allowed in our tour.
Texas Occupant Restraint Laws: A person commits an offense if the person operates a passenger vehicle, transports a child who is younger than eight years of age, unless the child is taller than four feet, nine inches, and does not keep the child secured during the operation of the vehicle in a child passenger safety seat system according to the instructions of the manufacturer of the safety seat system.

Yes, we will stop at the halfway point for a quick restroom break.
