"Great place to base your exploration of the city"

Great hotel in midtown ! Comfy, clean, soo close to the action with a great lounge and good free coffee (capuccinos and all) Was on 8th floor and the street level noise is loud at times (but this is NYC...) Comfy beds ! (not very comfy sleeper sofas but tht is always bad...) Good quality towels, a great guest request closet where you can get free toothpaste, brush, antipersperant, toiletteries etc ! Filtered water on every floor

Great first time experience at Club Quarters Grand Central. I've stayed at many hotels over the years in North America and Europe so have experienced the good, the bad and the very ugly. This was better than good. Staff were very customer centric and helpful over and above expected. Hotel and rooms were clean. Having Nespresso in the room as well as various other types of coffee and sparkling water on the picturesque 27th floor was a great plus. The gym , although small, was well equipped. Having a complementary facility to do laundry on site was a plus. Beds and pillows made a good night's rest easy and peaceful. The discounted parking for the hotel was 6 streets over BUT they have a reserved loading/unloading zone right in the front of the hotel that makes it easy to remove and put luggage in vehicles. Would have been nice to have a mini fridge in the room but this was by no means a deal breaker. I would stay there and recommend this hotel in a heart beat. Great value for the money.
