"for the price of $2000 for 8 days, hotel experience totally sucked..."

and what pool (photo at left? no pool was there... I went solo with 1 kitty cat.... HOLLYWOOD HOTEL... got moved to different room 3x in a week (for $1500!)... they wouldn't let my handlers pickup cat-box items and room left over food and items from room as per original agreement... even when I left 1 day early... I ought to sue them for losses... location was great... sucked when power was out and had to get moved 3rd time... wouldn't allow donation items toward room(s) to make those rooms better for next persons... doesn't like Scientologists staying there, of which there were like 40 or so... for the initial $450 for 2 days, then getting moved, then $1500 for next week, then getting moved again... and then for not allowing my handlers to pickup cat-box items and food from refrig and left over items... they totally suck... and cab-ride to LAX my cat had to be in trunk of taxi... hell no! anymore of that... they had better upgrade their policies if they ever want me to stay there again!... location was great, but all that for the price of $2000 total, hell no! poor exchange for that kind of money! And I hope I can sue for losses... am trying to sue...

I had a room overlooking the courtyard, which had string lights hanging in it. They seemed cute at first, but the weird thing is the hotel never shut them off throughout the night and there weren't blackout curtains so my room was bright the entire night (photo attached). The room was also freezing and the thermostat didn't work properly. Very uncomfortable stay.

I experience NEGLIGENCE and HARASSMENT at Hollywood Hotel First night of my stay I used the stairs to head out to grab something to eat. I’m not sure if they’re being remodeled or something but my heel got stuck and I fell down the stairs. I slid down on my knees all the way down. There was no tape to block this area off. I was bleeding and bruised from my shin and knees, and when I was able to make it to the front desk I explained this to them and they told me there should’ve been some tape there and someone must’ve moved it. Besides that, no one showed much concern of my fall even after I showed them the immediate swelling and bleeding that happened on both knees. Not one staff member asked if i needed medical assistance, nothing. That’s completely negligence!!! I wanted to talk to management but staff kept telling me they weren’t there, it almost seemed like they were avoiding me. Keep in mind there was no sign or tape indicating that there was construction being done to be cautious. They didn’t offer any help I needed to ask if they had any bandages or alcohol to sanitize my injuries. That night I asked to speak to the manager about the situation and they told me the manager wasn’t working but that the manager would be working the next day. So I insisted the following day and they still did not do anything to get a hold of the manager making excuses that they were on vacation. In fact on the last day I still tried everything to get a hold of the manager and they just kept being ignorant about the whole situation. Till this day the manager has not contacted me. They were super rude and unprofessional their customer service is horrible. They didn’t offer not even an apology and I over all I felt humiliated and harassed. Also, On my last day (I stayed 2 nights) before check out I wanted them to see the bruising and both staff members I spoke to told me it wasn’t necessary. I told him it hurts and the front desk guys told me “you look fine to me”. I asked them for managers info and medical insurance and failed to provide me with that info.

Nice clean hotel with small shop and lovely pool. Spacious rooms. Best thing about the hotel was Pil on reception. So helpful and welcoming. Comfy beds and pillows. Shampoo, Conditioner (which we didn’t get at Planet Hollywood), shower gel, body lotion and face wipes provided. Not a luxury hotel but great for a short stay.

Amenities were limited, like no coffee in the room or lobby. Room was nice. All advertised restaurants were closed for renovations and no breakfast as advertised. They should post things were closed on the web site. Also, no restaurants or coffee places nearby.
