Started bad when we discovered a urine soaked carpet and a dirty filter in the A/C unit. Called lobby and nobody answered. Kept calling and no answer. Had to go down there to talk to them about the issues. Management made it right and actually moved our two rooms to a separate adjoined area (perfect because it was a family trip).
We didn't spend much time in the rooms so we didn't fuss too much. However there were some negatives:
7 guests should mean 7 washcloths (at least). You should not have to share something like that. We had 4 total between 2 rooms.
Onsite Laundry consists of 2 washers and 2 dryers (1 didn't work) for close to 700 rooms. And even with the map it wasn't easy to navigate to find it. It's not labeled on any walls or doors either. Probably the only reason we were able to get our laundry done was because of how obscure it was.
I was supposed to be able to choose a housekeeping option in the beginning but it was never brought up. When we asked for it for the second day they said they would provide full service our last day but never committed to it. We called and they did offer to bring towels which we needed again. We also asked for more TP but they didn't bring it and still never brought it when we called about it. In the end we had to get it from the front desk.
The parking lot was a little dirty. Saw bottles, cans, and other trash in several areas.
No complimentary breakfast as far as we could tell. Don't remember if it was supposed to be included but it should be in every hotel.
Onto some positives:
We used the pool once and it was very warm and clean.
We needed a keycode to get into parking. We also needed keycards to get through a gate and a door before we could even get into the elevator. We were thankful for good security (even though other guests didn't seem to care about leaving things open).
Applebee's is connected and delivers to the room.
Pillows were perfect for us.
Staff was pleasant and seemed nice enough.
