As a Diamond Elite member of the IHG brand, I usually stay closer to Disney Springs, but this time, no points stays were available in that area. Luckily, **Holiday Inn Resort Kissimmee by the Parks** had a points option open during my travel window—and I’m so glad it did! I called ahead upon arriving in the area to see if early check-in was possible, and *bam*—they made it happen. Being a loyal rewards member really does have its perks, and I truly appreciate how the IHG family goes out of its way to recognize that. Check-in was quick, smooth, and friendly. The front desk staff were absolutely amazing. I also found out that this is a newer Holiday Inn Resort location and is currently undergoing renovations. That said, the guest rooms appear fully refreshed and updated with the clean, modern look you expect from the new Holiday Inn design. While some amenities were still being completed, you could tell the finished product is going to be fantastic. I didn’t get a chance to use the food and beverage options on-site due to my short stay, and while I also didn’t get to enjoy the pool, it looked very inviting. Location-wise, you really can’t beat it—*super* close to Animal Kingdom and the rest of the Disney Parks. There are also plenty of dining options nearby, many within walking distance. Thanks to the team for making my 24-hour visit so smooth and enjoyable. This was a great stopover for a quick Disney trip, and I look forward to seeing the resort once all renovations are complete!
