We stayed at the Hilton Times Square 42nd Street which cost £807 for 3 nights room only in a city view corner suite. The hotel is in an ideal location with a 2 minute walk to the nearest tube station and only 8 minute walk to Times Square. The room with comfortable and well equipped with fridge TV huge bed with crips cotton bedding the bathroom had a bath and shower and again clean and with all you need including a hairdryer if needed. The hotel has a shop/cafe bar where you can purchase all manner of drinks and snacks and reasonably priced.. You can also pay extra for buffet breakfast and dinner without a previous reservation.. the hotel also has a bar open early till late with fabulous modern surroundings. All in all a great stay and we would stay here again!

"Amazing experience in NYC at the Hilton Times Square!"

From the moment that we checked in, the Hilton Times Square staff was SO welcoming, helpful and kind. As soon as we walked in, the room was clean, warm and lovely, and the view was SPECTACULAR!! We all rushed to the window to look out and it took our breath away!! Our entire family so excited and impressed and immediately decided that it was the nicest room and the best view we had ever seen! We were able to watch the Empire State Building change its lights at the top of each hour when we were in the room, and we really enjoyed the show. It was also a treat to see the Freedom Tower in the distance. Also, when we asked for a microwave to heat up our carry-out dinner, it came withing minutes of us asking. Never before have we had such great service at a hotel (and that says a lot because my husband and I traveled a lot for work, and we travel quite a bit as a family). We wished we could have stayed longer. The location is perfect and so close to everything we wanted to do. Thank you to the staff at the Hilton Times Square for making our trip so awesome and for everything you all did to make it the best trip ever. The Hilton team is amazing and we truly appreciate all you did for our family!!

"Raquel is THE BEST!!!"

We stayed at the hotel over Christmas for a day and it was the most pleasant experience. All of the staff members were incredible and the room was beautiful. Raquel checked us in and got us an early check in, so we were able to unwind before our matinee. I also told her we were visiting for my partners birthday, and she sent up a slice of cheesecake, a chocolate Empire State Building and a birthday card. Her service was simply the best I have encountered in my many hotel stays in NYC. She went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and at home and she made sure this is where we will be staying on our theatre trips. Thank you for everything, Raquel!!!

"Bare minimum housekeeping at best"
TripAdvisor user rating 2.0 out of 5

I haven’t felt the need to write a negative vacation review in a long time, but unfortunately, here we are. Yesterday morning, my family was getting ready to start our day when my youngest asked where the towels were. After checking the entire room, we realized there were none- not a single towel. I called housekeeping, assuming this would be a straightforward fix. I was asked how many towels I wanted, and I said six. The staff member responded with audible annoyance, asking how many people were in the room. When I said three, she replied sharply that we were “only allowed three towels.” I told her to bring three, as we still had zero. It took over 20 minutes for any towels to arrive. As we were leaving shortly afterward, I noticed a housekeeping cart in the hallway and assumed the room would be serviced while we were out. When we returned that evening, the beds were not made and the used towels from that morning were still on the floor. There was no signage in the room or bathroom indicating that daily housekeeping was not provided or that towels should be reused. Later that night, I stopped by the front desk to clarify the cleaning policy. I was told rooms are cleaned “every 2–3 days unless daily service is specifically requested”- something that was never communicated at check-in. I asked if towels could simply be sent to the room since ours were on the floor. When we returned, there were two towels waiting… for a room with three guests. This morning (we are still staying here), I checked the room service information and saw that the posted policy states service is provided daily unless a privacy sign is placed on the door, which directly contradicts what I was told at the front desk. To add to the experience, I pulled out the in-room coffee machine just now and found used pods from a previous guest still inside. At this point, it feels like the bare minimum is being done. Overall, this has been an unnecessarily frustrating experience- all over basic towels and unclear, inconsistent housekeeping policies. It’s disappointing and not what I would expect from a Hilton. With so many options in New York, this one can be skipped!

"Great location!"

Great location!! Within walking distance to almost everything! Rooms are definitely on the larger side, which was nice. Two issues we had was with the valet parking. We were told to call an hour before, however on the day we left - 12/30/25 - we were told 3 hours! Thank you Bonnie at the front desk for getting us a Lyft to get to the garage to get our car and for giving us a discount on the parking. The other issue was that our phone couldn't call down to the front desk, bell station, any of the internal lines. We kept getting a message that the call couldn't be completed. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay there.
