Michelle at the front desk made our trip so pleasant. She help us with our luggage and gave us great information. Our rooms were perfect and my son was 2 doors down. Perfect location in times square. I would stay again with missing Michelle help!

On a last minute trip to NYC we had the pleasure of staying the night at the Hilton Garden Inn Times Square. Upon arrival we were greeted by Michelle and G who made dropping off our bags a breeze before we went to explore the city. Once check in was available we came back and Michelle helped us get our bags and room keys so we could get set up before braving the cold to find dinner! The beds were incredibly comfortable, the rooms were very clean, and spacious enough for two adults to navigate with 3 large suitcases and one carry on. The showers had great water pressure!! But back to Michelle and G! We were lucky enough to have the pleasure of working with them during checkout. Michelle made sure we got our parking discount and that we had everything we needed to (sadly) leave the hotel and city. I can’t say enough how wonderful it was chatting with both of them and how much they lit up the lobby just by being so kind and lovely. If I wasn’t in love with NYC before, they made sure I would definitely come back in the future!!

Hilton charged a $30 "Destination Fee" for both nights we stayed. Not a good value. In a city with so many great restaurants and things to do, who cares about a $10 Planet Hollywood Voucher? And small credits for dry cleaning or city bikes that were never used are worthless. And they should provide Wifi and fitness center (dirty and worn, we did not use). That was just the hotel, our room had a foul odor. Upon investigation, it did not appear in the halls, just our room, 2405. Gross, like something very dirty happened there. And, the water temperature controls in the shower and sink do not work. The first shower was scalding hot. We called the front desk, they were very pleasant, and may have sent a plumber to fix the problem, but it persisted the next day, switching every few seconds between scalding hot and cold water temperatures. We spent way too much for this 2-night experience. Room value was not up to Hlton standards.

As a frequent business traveler, this was my worst experience ever at any Hilton property. From the very beginning, the check-in was chaotic and dismissive, with my Hilton status not recognized, rooms shown as available on the app but initially denied to me, and a confusing situation where I was told I could pay for early check-in yet was eventually allowed in without payment, while being forced to choose between early check-in and an upgrade. The room itself was poorly maintained, with a continuously leaking shower that housekeeping merely covered with a towel instead of fixing. Basic amenities were missing, including in-room slippers, daily complimentary water bottles, and an electric kettle or reliable access to hot water. Housekeeping also kept discarding partially used bottles, leaving me with nothing to drink. Overall, from the room to the amenities to the service, nothing met expectations, and this is absolutely not the Hilton experience that any Diamond member, or even a regular guest, should have to endure.

"Not very clean"

Stayed here for one night during the holidays. When I checked into my room was room was dirty. I could see watermarks on the counter, shower glass door and mirror. Toilet wasn't clean, as well as the desk and floor. Hairs all over the place. It was around 7pm and I just wanted to relax and get something to eat. I let front desk know what was going on and they sent someone to clean my room. The woman was great and cleaned it so well. She apologized and made sure it was acceptable before she headed out. Joseph (I think he's the manager) cam etc me an apologized and gave me a voucher for a free glass of wine. As a diamond Hilton member I was told that I would be given points in my account for the inconvenience and assured the person would be reprimanded for not cleaning my room. I never did get those points and after calling twice asking about them I just gave up. It's been a month and it's safe to say the points aren't coming. The hotel rooms ar small but ok for one person. Def not enough room for a family. It's closed to brant park, 5th ave, there's a Whole Foods around the corner. Decent pizza restaurant in the lobby and free coffee in the lobby. I will not stay here again with there being better options in the area like the Motto.
